I've been searching around the internet for ways to take clean screenshots (no HUD, no visible characters) of Revelations for several months to no avail. It really burns me because one of my favorite parts of playing through all of the RE games on Steam has been taking copious amounts of pictures to use as wallpapers.
I had all but given up on it for this game when I had an idea: What if I could just disable the screen overlay and effects from the Genesis Scanner, leaving only the first-person zoom effect? It would work perfectly for what I want to do, but I have no idea how to go about doing this.
I feel like this would be approximately ten thousand times easier than trying to implement some sort of DIY custom camera hack through Cheat Engine, but as a complete novice to modding, I have no idea where to to start.
Any help or other possible solutions would be greatly appreciated!

I've done a little digging around since the first post and, after unpacking the file, managed to find some things that seem to pertain to the Genesis Scanner in episode.arc:
-A couple files referencing TVNoise and TVStatic in episode/system/filter
-Some more visual noise/snow files in episode/game/filter (these have some really strange file extensions. "scanner.61BC4073")
-And a couple more files referencing the Genesis Scanner in episode/id_bhr/14_gadget
I also checked out the .arc file pertaining to the Genesis Scanner itself (wp1b30.arc in nativePC/archive/game/chara/wp/wp1b30) and no dice.
Messing with these files put me into an endless loading loop while trying to load into Episode 2 to test it lol. Sadly, this is probably the extent of my abilities at the moment. I've been doing some research but I'm having a lot of trouble finding any information that helps.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated! I really like how this game looks and would love to be able to do another playthrough just to take pictures!

I have also made an attempt at creating a CE table to manipulate the camera.
Sadly, every tutorial I followed to find and hook the camera with CE would crash the game as soon as I would narrow the list of addresses down and start ticking their boxes.
I'm not sure if I can do much else to figure this out without help.
