Could someone please make a mod to replace the Resident Evil / biohazard HD REMASTER GUI and Font with something closer to the original GC REmake to match the original release?
A similar mod was already created for RE0 to restore the original font used in the GameCube version of RE0.

Mr. Bunny has one for REmake (https://residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/5095/remake-font-mod), as do I, but I don't think either of them use the exact font that the GameCube release does. See: www.reddit.com/r/residentevil/comments/niq2fh/resident_evil_font_database/. One thing I'll say is that it looks to me that the game uses DNP Shuei, not Perrywood as that link suggests, for the general font, but either way, to get it like it is in the original, you'd also have to adjust the glyph sizes for each letter/symbol. (See: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/18586/alter-character-widths-custom-fonts.) This can be done, but it's slightly tedious, and then, assuming you have the font, you'd have to manually replace each letter/symbol in the .tex file. (There should be a tutorial floating around for that.) I'd wanted to do this a while back, but in general I'm disappointed by the remaster (lack of certain visual effects, terrible background upscaling, and, in my opinion, worse lighting, and so on), so I've generally given up on modding things.
