Hello ^^,
I am new to this forums so i am not 100% sure how things work.
So i am not sure if this post is on the good place here haha.
I am a active member on DeviantArt where i do Re-Texture work for Resident evil models, i don't own the RE2 Remake game yet
so i cannot make a mod from it, but i do have the facial retextures for Ada,s model that i made on her exported 3D model in photoshop.
Maybe you guys are interested in this? It always bothered me how "Caucasian" Ada looked in the games, so i made this more "Asian" facial texture for her.

It would be great if someone can make a working mod from these facial textures in the actual game  I am very curious how it will look.

I think just the change in nose and iris texture combined with the default model would look perfect ^^

looks like an old chinese lady with a lot of makeup on her. lol i think she's supposed to be eurasian anyway

The original is better TBH. I recommend you checking the one created by riccardo minervino.

Original is way better, the lips you did look blurry and low detail. If you want her to look a bit more natural you mostly just need to tone down the makeup around her eyes.

I prefer the original by a long shot. Ada is asian/american, so she's only half chinese, it does not make sense to make her appear full chinese

Guys guys guys it's just a mod OK so take it if you like it or leave it without a negative comment We aren't being overly negative... we're saying he can do better(or at least I am) but I guess I understand. If you want to improve its a good idea to listen to others. I don't even see any very hostile comments towards him. They just don't like how it turned out. How the author chooses to respond is up to them, not you, but hopefully they understand it's not meant to be malicious. You don't learn and improve by just hearing people praise what you do all the time, it helps to have people critique sometimes. Even if it is just a mod I'm going to assume they may want to do much better mods in the future.

Her original face's normal map is bad. It just makes her look too grainy lol. It's great that your one has less grainy look which looks much better.

The model work actually isn't awful, but dude, never mind the different texture- you FUCKED UP MY GIRL'S MAKEUP. This is not speaking from modding experience, this is real world experience. You omitted her eyeliner, her eyeshadow, her blush, and you changed her lipstick color without matching it to anything else that would even make it work. And I'm sorry, but no matter how dark your irises there's always a pupil in there when you shine a light directly onto them, those are dolls eyes. Just pure black.
And she doesn't look more Asian, she just looks like a completely different Asian actress with shitty makeup.
Like I don't want you to quit, by all means continue, but this is not a finished mod. This is a work in progress.
Go learn makeup or find a good texture but wow dude. This could be better.
