1 - getting back the good old "Resident Evil 2" Menu announcer. I was watching some Eastern folk stream speedruns, and when one quit and restarted the playthrough the launch screen had that exact announcement, in English! No idea why it's been removed or disabled for Western versions but the soundfile definitely exists somewhere for this remake. It was most likely original OST DLC

It was, you're right! Just tried it myself. When audio modding becomes more clearly understood we can port the clip over to the remake soundtrack too hopefully.

Yeah, I already read that, but I don't think that's a description of how to add custom music, more than simply a description of ways to work with these encrypted files until someone develops a program that can properly extract the contents in a simple way.
