Yes even though it says headset/VR required you can still play/try it on desktop via mouse and keyboard no mic required all I had was headphones on no mic

How to make the model displayed and moved not in a vertical position? This makes moving the camera and objects extremely uncomfortable. In my example, a mushroom-like location is number 104. Example

There was a question from kTeo that I am answering here as it was posted in the wrong section. I have pasted his questions from the other thread here for reference: also, forgot to say everytime i opened the .obj in 3ds (with your imp obj preset) the message "invalid texture index" popped up and the model didn't loaded, so i needed to remove the texture coordinates in the presets. is there a way to solve this? even on your tutorials you could open the files without textures. Are you referring to the SAT default OBJ files or the file: RE4UHD 2018 Toolset (by Son of Persia)\4 - Misc info & Files\Default 3DsMax scene\ 0000.obj ?The DMY file (0000.obj) comes with all the needed textures to load (they are placed in the same folder).You simply have to tell 3Ds Max where they are located on your hard drive.
i'm trying at the moment repack .smd files but the .bat keeps closing before the end and no changes are saved. is it some problem with your latest release? I just tested the SMD tool that is included in the latest download and can confirm that it is working. When modding you will need to constantly assess what is going wrong with tools by trouble shooting. In this case (and for future problems) I will suggest you simply unpack and then repack a file without making any changes to see if the tool is working. Other errors might happen down the line when you have made errors with index counts, or wrong textures etc. You should be making backup copies of things you work on so you can go back and see where you went wrong. what is happening here is after i export the files from 3ds (with your preset as well) the tools simply don't seem to work anymore. trying to close the gates of r108. the model is 0021.obj and after i finish positioning it on 3ds and extracting, the repack tool just stop reading at the 0021.obj and crashes :\
if you want i can even make a video.
edit: my 3ds is also updated.

take a screenshot of your export settings and post it here. I suspect your are using Quads and not Triangles.

have you tried simply unpacking the SMD from the original and repacking it (without making changes), then repacking the udas to see if it works?

yes, already had some problems with this for not using the 1.0.6 version game files. everything works except when i export from 3ds. Sorry I am confused… Regardless of which game version of the EXE are using will not affect how the tools work. As for your exporting issue, try making a video of your entire process start to finish so I can observe what’s going on.

The problem is that your model has no textures applied to it. You will need to open the pack file for the room and apply the desired textures before exporting.

I cant help without knowing each step you are taking. When you say you tried with textures what did you do?
Modding stages, EFF, LIT, etc is VERY problematic and requires that we have patience (I often lose my patience and swear off it just like you). Don't give up. I'm here to help you.
