@edrich PM ME YOUR EMAIL. do you have tools for .EMI and .SND? i've been looking for editing those files but can't find anything There are no tools for the SND file, which is one of the most complicated files to deal with because it involves working with the XSB/XWB files, and the FSE/ESE. There is an EMI tool that Crzosk developed for the 2007 version of RE4, but I am not sure it repacks the file. The tool does export OBJ files though which is handy if you wanted to translate the info to HEX and edit the file manually. hAPPY moDDING !

kTeo For future reference, please do no post questions about specific tools here in this thread (unless there is no tool , like the EMI or RTP).. . There is an SMD Tool thread that I have set up for questions about this tool. I have taken the liberty to post your questions with answers in the appropriate thread. The EMI "crzosk" tool only edits existing EMI files. if we want to edit more to EMI it is better to go to a room with more EMI entries or simply edit it in hexadecimal.

TOOLS UPDATE 7-2020 A new discovery by the Master moderr ALbert has shed some new ligth (pardon the pun) on how lights and models interact in RE4UHD. The SMX tool has now been updated by the Master son of Persia to make use of this new knowledge. See the updated details of this most important discovery in the SMX Tutorial section. The RE4UHD 2018 tools link has been updated in the first post of this thread to include the new version of the SMX tool, as well as the SMX tutorial in both the individual and complete tutorial links. ok, i dont see a udas post, so i will ask my question here, thing is when i repack my r100.udas i check out on hxd that the header is inverted, it should be: CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 CA B6 BE 20 but it is: 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA 20 BE B6 CA and some other lines are not in place, how do i fix this??

I dont know how to fix this. You are the 4th person to show me this issue. I dont know what causes it. Apperntly it does not matter if the header is inverted. Does that version with the switched header not work ?

The game load the room with the not repacked udas, when adding or even overwriting the repacked udas it doesnt work it happened to me before

The game load the room with the not repacked udas when adding or even overwriting it doesnt work it happened to me before I have alerted Son of Persia about this issue, but I dont think it matters. My tool does this too, but it doesnt make the room not load. I suggest you do some more tests as to what is making the game not load. Can you try simply removing the LFS with the LFS tool, but not touching it with any UDAS tool and tell us what is happening?

Im actually using a not repacked r100.udas without the .lfs and it works perfectly

Im actually using a not repacked r100.udas without the .lfs and it works perfectly ok so to be clear here, when you take this non-modified r100.udas and unpack it, then repack it (without making any changes to the files inside the UDAS) then the game will not load?
