I think most of the modders just lost interested to modding anymore but i have some solutions here: 1-Let them have there own patreon to increase the interest to modding 2-Don't bump thread should be removed so more members can thank the modders 3-More modding tutorial are needed so can a lot of members join modding On an off-topic note. I just noticed your username and I think it's very homophobic and I don't agree with it. And while I'm not a moderator or an admin I'd like to strongly request you change it if possible. 1- noooooooooo making mods paid by patreon is how you get a DMCA strike FOR SURE. There were some modders for street fighter 5 who started a patreon and locked their mods behind that and they got DMCA strikes real fast. 2- the bump thread rule is there for a reason. It puts old mods back to the top of the topics list. Putting old content above the newest. Although plenty of new people break that rule for that exact reason you mentioned. Or to complain links are broken. 3- I think someone on the RE Modding Discord recently mentioned they might make a new tutorial on model modding soon. But while some may be incentivized to start modding with it there will always be more people who don't. Simple as that. Some modders may have lost interest. So did I for a while. But who knows RE2Remake may bring some of them right back. And if not. So be it. They have their own lives to live and they make their own choices. I don't really know what point I'm trying to make with this post but I'll just shut up now.

I feel like any issues about membership can be chalked up to the fact that RE isn't a super well-known franchise in terms of modding. You just can't change that because the mods we can do are super limited.
It's the polar opposite of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse modding community; DB is a cultural icon and the modding community can do some amazing shit that we can only really dream of.
So really, don't bother worrying about activity or whatever. It'll be fine.

Why not give the opportunity to introduce a donation button for modders? Perhaps this would be an additional incentive for them if people want to support someone’s work more than just say thanks. I mean, it will not be a prerequisite to get a mods, only on a voluntary basis. Mods still will have to be distributed freely. The thing is this is a risk due to possible DMCA complaint coming by making this a forum practice and its also a slippery slop of where yes we could say its voluntary but fact is some modders may start to abuse this by making ALL of their mods pay only which would then spread this sentiment until it gets to the point where no mods are getting released unless people pay for it, pretty much involving money into this complicates rather than addresses the issue, As a former modder myself I've always believed that you release mods either because you happen to make a mod for your own enjoyment and wanted to share with your fans or you simply want to show your work to hopefully gain some appreciation and respect for your hard work and with both of these its great to have just members take that extra time to like or comment showing their appreciation to get going. We have had a few modders take paid personal requests but that isn't exactly the official stance of the forum but more along the lines of us leaving that transaction strictly between the member in question and the modder who took what was offered.
And regarding tutorials I think the forum has a great library of tutorials already, where specifically I ask are we lacking in the actual posted tutorial department?

Too bad your name is blatant bigotry. There are gay people on this site, so You should think twice about what you want to spew here.

1-Really!!! a strike well that's weird because all the modders from street modders having a patreon and i didn't say any of them saying anything about DMCA 2-I just meant to thank them not complain if there is error with it or reupload request 3-I simply don't believe in people saying soon because most of them take forever to do it is what i saw on some forums by the way i did some model swap by myself on DOA5LR because there was a tutorial for it even though your account was removed I feel like I should explain this so others also understand it. 1- some street modders have a patreon yes. but most of them don't lock their mods behind it. they do it as a support for their work but they release their mods for free. link: Capcom Files DMCA Against Street Fighter Costume Modders2- true even if it's thanking them it's still pushing old content to the top of the list. this rule is there for a reason. if every old thread got a "thanks" it would push ALL of the new content pages deep down. which is exactly why we have the no bump rule. 3- that's being cynical. people here have other things to do than instantly putting in a lot of hours trying to make tutorials, if you can't trust them on saying "soon" then I can't help you either. and as others have pointed out there are quite a few tutorials for the various RE games on these forums already.

About the link you gave it's rumor because both of them are still making mods on there own new forum modderbase.com and is for zetaboards both got banned by not active admin SakuraSoMoe so all other admins and moderators and some of the modders just left the old forum to a new one

While I do support this on some levels, it would open the gate for certain kinds of undesireables
- people who steal mods from lesser known modders trying to make a profit off others works (common in other mod communities).
- people who post progress pictures of mods they will never release just so they can make money through donations.
- People who only release their mods to donators. (also common in other communities like the GTA modding community)
