Hey! I know that there have been around mods with her original face that made Capcom, but, can somebody import these models with this edited face? I really like how she looks there. Reminds me of something between a classic and modern look at her.

the ponytail from the RE2 outfit will give problems, so, do you mind if i use the revelations 2 ponytail?? it looks like the one from re2 but with tons of quality and it can be ported to re5 easily, this one uses the orc one and that game uses an unorganized alpha system, re5 can't handle multiple overlapping on the meshes that contains alpha, if you think that this will be an issue then i can't help much here, if it doesn't i can give it a try, i have a free weekend.

Also, it would be great if you could somehow to divide her sleeves and hands as separate elements of the model. I mean that her sleeves are just a texture that is painted on top of her hands, not having a separate mesh. I always did not like this in these models.

everything is possible, it'll depend on how good the modder is, i'll try to do my best on this mod since it's been a long time without a RE2 Claire port and i never did any try on that outfit hahaha, considering it's my favorite from the entire RE series, it deserves a try. besides, rebecca's gloves with ada's geometry could be a good replacement for her low poly hands, i'll do some modifications to increase the details, but at the same time to make her riggeable into re5's bone structure. edit: this is the very first stept, besides her bugged lips and black edges around her hair, her face look's stunning, you have a nice taste.

Rebecca's gloves? I thought that a good option would be Helena's (RE6 China outfit) gloves, because they have a similar look with a cutout like have Claire. I was thinking about a combination like a Excella's body and some things from the REORC model like a boots, maybe a jacket, because they have good textures and it should be good if this put together and set up. But it will require more hard work, so I did not ask about this.

Should i keep working on this? Are you kidding? You've already rubbed so much of your time and energy on this and you think I'll tell you to stop? Hell no! I'm sure it's just a perception of lighting in the game, rigging specifics and nothing more, so it can make you feel strange about this.
It's just that her face here and on the render seems more rounded and wide
and on the contrary thin and elongated, so that's why I'm a bit confused

that's just the extremely sunny render from the P.A. the main problem of this model are her textures, they are extremely upscaled but there are only a few details visible on her face, that's why the render shows only an null skin color, when the opacity maps are more visible (desperate escape/LIN by example) she looks like in the figure i posted above. The only fix for this will be an edition to her facial texture. take a look at this, i re-started this mod according with most of your recommendations and this was the result: Separated sleeves, corrected her gloves (used rebecca's one with an small skin adition to fit her DSC style and make them a bit more dark) added excella's geometry and replaced her old low poly skin with my smoothed meshes (shoulders, knee's, hair, eyes, legs) oh, also i added hair movement, still having some small alpha issues, but "SHOULD" be fixable. the only stuff left is: remove her alpha issues and add (AGAIN) her alpha to her shorts xD had to remove it since i re-started this mod 2 times to fit with your recommendations and my speculations. here are more pics of her hair movement (im planning on add an eye shadow effect, since they show too small and white):

She looks much better with these separated mesh of hands and shoulders.And amazing work on gloves and hair movement. Keep it up! It's a pity that her other textures still have not best quality, despite the fact that some guys tried to restore her original textures. Although, for shorts and T-shirt it's looks good enough, but her vest seems to be a bit rude form. I have tried to adapt her REORC vest for this model, but I did not get a good result, but it definitely would have been better. Edit: About her upscale low texture quality for the face, if she still uses the original Claire textures, try these. This is the texture of the face that made by Satyr, edited by me a little bit. It is also upscaled, but more detailed.

I'm usually not a fan of character replacements because most people have troubles with rigging (no offense, it's hard and that's not my field of work, I'm a modeler/texture artist), normal map swizzling or upscale textures too much. But this is great work, especially on the rigging side, kudos to you! On that note, I'm totally willing to help. I'm working on a full RE5 environnement and NPC retex (Gonna release Public Assembly as a teaser soon guys!) but if you're interested I could do it all from scratch, sculpting then baking a new diffuse, Normal, Spec and AO for her vest, undershirt, arms and face. Legs, pants, gloves, knife, goggles, belt and pouch shouldn't require a baking workflow, I think I could do that using nDo to generate a normal map from scratch then generate diffuse and spec from that.
