if we manage to map the format and do an exporter, loading theold re4 pmd's and converting them to UHD will not be a big deal as the pmd format is known for ages and the models skeletons are the same i think, just differently stored in file. the bone data in UHD are simpler, they are stored at the begining of the file in a much more convinient way than pmd were. i am pretty busy actually with lot of things like god of war 3 models extraction (hell yes i want aphodite model and it will come in UHD lol)

i have been investigating this new format by curiosity: udas are package that can contain multiple DAT files whitch also contain multiple files ( a by weird i would say). so // *.udas usefull header offsets for unpacking DAT files offset 0x24 : first dat file size offset 0x2C : header size offset 0x40 : unknow count offset 0x4C : second dat file size (offset = headersize + first dat file size)
///*.Dat header (local offsets ) offset 0x0 :num files offset 0x10 : array of offset start for each file one integer for each entry then : array of files extensions, one for each file offset (3 letters +/0) if the extension is 0x00000000 the file is null so the offset in the array point to the next file and must be ignored.
i have no time actually to do the tool to unpack now, maybe i will come with one if no one do it as i want to look at the models format. i think you can make a new thread for the tools pack don't you think ?
Uploaded beta version of new unpacker/repacker, feel free to test it and give feedback on errors etc.. so i can fix it if needed. same link as before on my skydrive (see first post of the thread)
