I found a way to preview the animations on 3ds max, edit the movement there and export it back into 3ds max, so far Rachael is my first product with that method and she look's stunning! man, rigging in 3ds max directly with the animation is the best way to mod those games, and i can reuse the rig of all those games between them, unfortunately the number of bones is different, but it doesn't matter, as long as i can edit the rig and preview the animation at the same time

We LOVE the modding GODS ! hahaha im glad you like my work, and of course they will be released, i don't spend all this time making mods only to leave them as private hahaha that'll be uuhm, "curious", i mean, we have the oportunity to make model mods and the modding of re5 always was based on swaps and reskins, now that we have the chance of making model mods im happy that people can use my mods and mod my mods aswell, i've seen cool reskins for my mods that are waaay better that my original mod, but that's the stuff i aim for, just respect the crediting stuff and you can use as you wan't my mods hahaha
about rachael i have to fix some bugs on her hair and should be good to go, i'll upload her and Jill Corsair to the main post of my personal topic

sorry for double posting, i did some small stuff on Rachel, she look's really good in comparisson with my hand-rigged rachel, anyway, here's how she looks:
i added some bones of course, since rev1 didn't had most of the re5 stuff inside the model, but damn my girl look's really cute, and her MM gives her this leather-like material all over her swimsuit, her hair was hard, i ahd to do tons of divisions and the backface culling didn't helped at all, there are still some issues, but she look's nice i think. she should be uploaded in a few hours, i have to fix her shoulders a bit and should be good to go.

Sorry for double posting again, but i must share this, i managed to port completely an outfit from REV1 to RE5, and when i say completely i mean completely, this jessica isn't like my other mods, this is the exact rig from revelations 1, she moves just like in revelations 1, so there should be no errors on her movement, this outfit was just a test, but i really liked the result, i should've done this with rachel aswell, but oh well, here's the purple eyed lady:
the right eye seems like a bit lazy compared to her left one, but i checked the rig and they have the same weigh on each corresponding bone.

Great Work Felix! So you didnt touch max studio right? I know there is another member here who was able to port Claire from REV2 over re6 with same rigin , animations and hands , Barry from rev2 to re6 and the hunter from Revelations 1 to RE6.

Looking awesome so far. Do you think your new method will be work just as good for importing from RERev2? i haven't tried, but as long as i get a good view to the original rig i can port even from Xnalara without touching the movement of the character

About REV1 and RE5 using the same bone names, thats probably true, Since REV1 did use RE5 animations before (Pilot version), But they lack the fix bones most of their games use (Shoulders, knee and stuff) , But they do use the forearm rig.

About REV1 and RE5 using the same bone names, thats probably true, Since REV1 did use RE5 animations before (Pilot version), But they lack the fix bones most of their games use (Shoulders, knee and stuff) , But they do use the forearm rig. This is not surprising, because when developing this game, they fully relied and took on RE5 as a base with making some changes. The same goes for Mercenaries 3D. I'm almost pretty sure that if it were not the limitations of N3DS and they release this the game immediately as a multiplatform for the older generation of consoles and PC, most likely we would have as well not the pre-rendered cutscenes as did RE5.

soooooooooooo REV1 and RE5 use the exact same bone names  ?? daaammmn can you port other peeps like maybe Raymond XD not exactly, they use a very similar bone structure, we don't know the names of the bones since depending on which method you use for the import you'll get different names on the same bones.
about raymond, sure, this method allows me to port characters from all the MT Framework games with no rigging issues, as long as they have the sufficent bones amount they share most of the crucial bones like shoulders, elbows and knee's bending, so there should be no problems.
i was having some fun with this and im really amazed by how perfect the rig looks straight from other games, here's a rachel ooze port that i did in nearly 20 minutes:
