Thank you DarkSamus for posting that. Hopefully it turns out to be what we're all hoping for

I was able to have a small chat with wbacon. One highlight:
It's nice to see confirmation that Capcom is still going strong with PC support.

What happened with RE5 was unfortunate, but I doubt that'll happen very often. Primary problem with RE5 was that the PC version was unfinished back in 2010. They should have had that team update it with Gold Edition back then, as that team was super familiar with the game and engine. As long as they develop PC versions as the same as time as console versions, we shouldn't get an RE5 situation again.

This isn't the first time this happened, mind you. The last patch for RE4UHD broke a couple of things and from what I hear REmaster still suffers from performance issues which not only are well documented, but some of them have community workarounds. And this game had a simultanious release along with the consoles. Hardly dedicated support if you ask me...

REmaster and Revelations 2 both had performance issues and other bugs, but they weren't exclusive to the PC version. Console versions had similar issues. There's really no excusing that, but they're not specifically messing up the PC version in that case.

Yes it wasn't just PC on my xbox when loading Gina or chipper (after jessica and White lottie patch) crashes the game when you try to edit there gestures

I just need to know if Resident Evil Outbreak & Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 (with their new, rebuilt, online mode :3),will EVER be remastered in the future. I'm going to die if they don't get those two (with their new rebuilt online mode :3) remastered soon..

Well, that just makes it extra unexcusable, because it sets up a bad scenario for the forseeable future...

Well, that just makes it extra unexcusable, because it sets up a bad scenario for the forseeable future... With that line of thinking, you could say it's a bad scenario for the entire industry, as most publishers are currently releasing games in a buggy state. Revelations 2 and REmaster seem like flawless masterpieces compared to AC: Unity and Master Chief Collection. But the more this happens, the more publishers are realizing it's giving them an extremely bad reputation, so I'm hoping it won't take long before they give games more time before shipping them.

You're exactly right- this is the state of the industry. Only it's been happening for some time now. Sadly the most responsible are consumers themselves- thanks to the preorder culture people get suckered in to basically buy a cat in the bag. Why should publishers give a damn about releasing a quality product when they got their money long before the game is out. They'll just throw some bullshit excuse our way saying that it'll be better next time and leave people with broken games. Unless they start losing money they won't care how much their reputation suffers. But to do this they gamer community would have to change, which it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon. Pretty sad, but that's how it is. It doesn't affect me that much since I almost never buy games on release, so when I actually decide to purchase something it hopefully will be fixed by that time and it's so cheap that they hardly make a profit on me.

I need to speak to wbacon again as I haven't spoken to him much of late.
I do know he has been playing some game that is not yet announced. I would LOVE to know what game that is but he wouldn't tell me more.
