The 1.0.6 patch is probably going official tomorrow...  THE 1.0.6 PATCH IS OUT AND HAS BEEN MADE OFFICIAL I believe with very high certainty RE4UHD has reached the end of its patching guys. RE4UHD will only ever be what we can make of it (through modding) forever. Also some other bits you guys might like to read as well...

Yet it still suffers from flickering textures (the room where Ashley operates the crane in the Castle comes to my mind) which I think cant be fixed by modding...

But I honestly would not hold your breathe guys on getting the source code. I really don't think Capcom Japan will play ball on this issue (But it would certainly be nice if I was wrong)

Pretty much 100% they wont give away the source, only Carmack do this kind of thing and even then he had to go to a lawsuit with Creative Labs. But if the miracle somehow occurs I think the modding community would fix the remaining issues in a month at worst. Heck I will be one the firsts on setting my dev environment as soon as I could get my hands on the source...

But, at the same time People, Sorry to be a bummer, but I wouldn't advise you all to have high hopes, Didn't Halo 3 appear on Steam DB too ? and as it turns out, this was not the case, Anything can Happen people, But this is Capcom we are talking about, they own the IP for Dead Rising, So I guess they can do anything they want, I sure as hell hope its true though,

I'm surprised this is coming out as I assumed Microsoft had a strict exclusivity agreement with the game. One thing I'm curious about is the weird "share your favourite RE memory" contest Capcom had in March which they were gonna reveal in April. Apparently that was gonna be related to a game, but Capcom's been completely quiet about it.

Haven't spoken to wbacon for a while, but today's conversation was interesting even without an answer...
So no confirmation as to what is happening with RE5, but maybe we will get some answers shortly.
