Hello Guys! here's my new project that i will be working on, it will be slow because i don't have much free time, but i'll try to do the best that i can to give as much detail as i can to this mod. so, as a start, i wanted her hair to move, i know that this isn't really possible with the knowledge that we have, but i tried my best to make her front hair move as much as it was possible without huge deformations. this was my best shot (couldn't make all the hair move since the bone position affects critically the collition of those) : i know it doesn't mean that much but oh well haha. next stuff on the list are her nude hands, as the original model from re3, its already done, still needs a bit of tone fixing, but the hands rig is cute enough for me. plus, i added some smoothness on her shoulders and elbows, same as her belt from her back, to make her shoulders bend a bit more smoothly. i guess that on her to-do list are: the backface culling, add her mouth inside, and replace correctly her specular and normal maps (she has quick textures so she doesn't have that much texture quality for now) oh, and also a version without the accesories, so you'll have the plain skirt/jacket/boots version from re3. here are some caps, just look at that beautiful handgun animation, and her skirt doesn't clip! im just so happy about that! i can say that this is my best port of her at the moment.

Impossible, her hair bones don't allow that much movement without going through her head, it seems that the more far the bone is from the mesh, the more it ignores the bone collision.

Impossible, her hair bones don't allow that much movement without going through her head, it seems that the more far the bone is from the mesh, the more it ignores the bone collision. ha you can make it so it not too much rigged and you can move the bones you know

the problem is that her front hair only have 1 bone chain, which means that if i rig her re3 front hair completely half of her hair will be bugged, like the original DE jill port, that one with the bug on her hair, and even more bugged, so i'll leave it as it is for now, besides, moving a bone will not actually move the bone, it will move the meshes if they are rigged before doing so, applying the skin wrap after it will cause random results, only games with rev1, 2, re6, 0 and remake can handle this trick without huge deformations.

i think you are not understanding quite well what's up with this jill xD, she have 1 bone chain, from the right side of her head, that's the only moveable stuff on her front part (back head have a long bone chain than interact with her back and her weapons, so i can't use those) i can move all the bones that i want but i'll have to rig the whole hair of her front to just 1 bone chain, which means that i will have parts of her hair going trough anyway. I don't know how zaki modded but as far as i know, sheva can have really good hair physics, unfortunately i like the facial interaction and we all know that if i use sheva as base for a jill mod that i will swap later, 1. she will have weird facials and 2, when used along with other jill's on the same match those facial bugs will be permanent lol, so i assume he used sheva as base and did an amazing work on the rig. Also, you can't actually move bones, because you can't export them back, you only move the mesh with the animations, aaand re5 hate this method, try to move facial bones and then export back and you'll see what i mean xD. besides all that, i used bsaa jill, which only have 1 bone chain, while battlesuit jill have 1 parallel bone chain at the other side of her head and 1 at the upper side of her front.

Nice job but i still think making her hair move would be epic to do :3 but ill leave that to Zaki since he is more know to do well with those kind of bones

Yeah, why don't you wait for his version based on excella's body? It looks stunning and he kept her face from re5, also he based his mod on sheva
