Hello Guys! this small mod attempts to modify jill's handgun animations so she can walk, run, go up and down ladders with the original animation offset from the old resident evil series, it was requested by muhammadja and jillsnake at: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/3309/chris-jill-run-animation?page=1&scrollTo=84548Jill WeaponsChris WeaponsThis mod now support both, Jill and Chris. Installation:
paste the ARC files on this path: steamapps\common\Resident Evil Biohazard HD REMASTER\nativePC\arc\wep Some Pictures: This replaces all the handguns, including the revolver that you get from Barry once you choose to let Lisa kill him. Extra:I think i found a way to make Chris shoot with the boss fights animations, but its kinda "Too good to exist" since this highly increase your critic strike chance, use it at your own risk, i would consider this one as CHEATING so it will not be included on the pack. I've just tried it on my custom Jill , she is really adorable using gun on knife/solo animations (walk/run) , nice work and hope you will release other updates on it , there are several interesting developments on this mod , by always i'm interested on modifications on Jill's animations , but unfortunately this purpose has never been well explored , with some work there are several good things that can be done/achieved on Jill on RE HD.
The only bug that i found is a little "jump" on walk animation when stop on going back , a thing that you can fix.

Looks good. I believe Jill uses the same animations for the self-defence gun, magnum and Barry's Samurai Edge as well. I would be grateful if you did this for those weapons too.

actually she doesnt use the same animation file for all those guns, kinda makes sense, since all those weapons have separated arc files, by consecuent, a different lmt file even when the generic animations are the exact same with small variants like fire speed and shoot animation in the case of the revolver, about that bug of the small jump, its already fixed, it was a small missclick by this dumb head xd will add more variants in a few hours

Man, this mode makes me wanna play this game again. Jill's animations were so slow that i felt bored. Do you plan to increase the running speed as well? Great job, congrats.

I found another little bug that i hope can be fixed , the sound of steps is a little delayed than same animation whitout gun.

hello, i used three tools, ARCTools for obvious reasons, an hexadecimal editor and re6 lmt tools,
the hexadecimal editor is to identify which pose is which and re6 lmt tool to extract and repack the lmt file.
about the shotgun animation for chris and bosses, im pretty sure it can be extracted and make it replace the original aim style.

It might take me a lot of time, because every weapon have its own animation ID for each action, which means that i can't just use the same lmt for all the other guns I did some research on the lmt and it seems to be at the same format as all the framework games, i mean, they use the same orientation for the bytes that controls the movement of the character´s bones, this orientation bring us the oportunity to port other animations from other games, but i will not work on that since i have no idea about programming and doing it manual with more of 300 frames will be a total waste of months xD by the way, i updated the animation mod with this version, it even replaces the "bored" animation, which is played when you stand at the same spot for too long. plus, the little "jump" when you walk backwards should be fixed now, a small bug that i can notice is that her "stop aiming" animation might be a little rough/fast, since we don't have an animation that goes from the aiming pose to a stand pose with her hands back to the knife's hands are. link
i will try to add the support for other guns and Chris with his special shotgun animation from the bosses fights as soon as i can.

Just tested new ver. , the "small jump" bug has been fixed , also you added knife idle (standing anim.) while using gun , all seems works in good way , i'm glad of this , about aim return anim , in my opinion is ok and enough fluid by a step to other. The only thing that would remain to fix (always if is possible) is the delayed sound of walk , forward and backward , i believe that sound delay is more strong on backward walk ; the run/aim seems be ok on sound.
Yes is always a long process optimize a mod , i'm appreciating much this one because a change on animations let us to play a game with different feeling/way ; i'm not into animations but for me is a thing that worth to elaborate on , here there is a sea of possibilities ; about using animations by other games , immediately i think to ass movements of Vanessa of Pn03 on Jill RE HD , but even i know that this will remain a forbidden dream ..
Hope you have the time to update again this mod , Thanks for all work so far. ^^

Hello, I tried to learn some basics of the tools, but no luck so far.
Do you have RE0? Can you do the same with only the first pistols of each character?
I know I asked too much and I'm sorry if I was being rude, but I'm ready to donate to have those animations for Billy and Rebecca.
