Total newbie here, if I wanted to learn how to make a mod, where would I start? I am not interested in creating skins. I want to make the game harder, by adding enemies, reducing ammo, and maybe tweaking a few other things. Is that really difficult to increase enemies and decrease ammo?

Editing enemy data is not complicated if you simply want to swap out some enemies or maybe make them stronger, but if you want to organize where they go and how they move or edit mobs that get quite difficult. I would suggest that you simply start off slow here... Look at this video by Wizard: As far as reducing ammo drops that can be quite difficult as it has not been fully explored yet. There are certain values in the ITA file that we can modify to reduce certain amounts of ammunition drops: It is also possible to customize the dropping out of different items which depend on which character's id loads into the stage" 00 00 00 00 02 10 00 00 00 00 17 00 02 00 00 01 (02 10) - gold id (03 10 Leon ammo to the rifle 15pcs) (03 10 Arrows Krauser 20 pcs) (03 10 Wesker grenade 01 pcs) (03 10 Ada tmp ammo 100 pcs.) i wanna replace dr salvador with super varaint...any tips? also i would like to know if there's a possiblity to spawn chicago typewriter ammo from enemies...like normal ammo...but i guess that's impossible. i think all we can do is replace ammo boxes on levels...in st1,2,3 etc

for me that speed modifier from Raz0r trainer set to 130%, with all enemies with double of HP and all enemies attacks doing 30% more damage would be awesome,
Hopefully can Raz0r can add the last two soon.

You have to edit the ITA files for each stage and for each enemy. If you look at my ITA tutorial you should be able to do this in HEX editing, or you could wait till the new Son of Persia toolset is released and do it that way which would be easier. In any case it is a lot of work but possible. i wanna replace dr salvador with super varaint...any tips?Easy. Watch the video I posted above by Wizard. Just know that some enemies are not compatible within their mobs. Meaning some mobs cant have certain combinations. Also we can onlu use ganados from the scenario we are loaded in, so for example we cant use Waterworld Ganados in the Village section of Mercs.
