hey it have some error after ashley n leon jump down into DUMP, and then you go to room with "BIG BALL" that's the error my game crash on that "BIG BALL" room always cash solution? There really is not a solution for this other than replacing the emleon file that contains that part of the game with the original one. This will revert the enemy spawn back to normal. The problem is that some computers can't handle the amount of enemy spawns at certain parts of the game and thus will crash, mine used to do this around the part where you first reach the castle and head to the room after defeating the zealot who where hurling flaming balls at you. I changed a lot of enemy spawns so it would either spawn more enemies on screen or different level enemies in areas they would normally not be at.

I realize this thread hasn't been active for a bit now but, I was really hoping to get these mods working and I was having some errors. While I was trying to install the mods I was realizing that the folders in my version of RE4 was a bit different from a lot of others I've seen. I also noticed I didn't have a xfile.dat. I don't know if that would be relevant to these mods in anyway but, I figured that the reason this was the case was because I bought the HD version from Steam.
So I was wondering if there was anyway how I could still manage to get these mods to work on my version. I was able to replace the mod files for the enemy sounds and skins with the original in-game files but, when I launch the game I don't see any changes. Any ideas to remedy this?

Ok first of all, if you know a thread has not been active for a while then do not bump it, we have a policy here as well as a notification at the top of topics older than 60 days that you should not reply to it if its 60 days or older, it would have been best to send me a personal message rather than bump this thread. Your new so this is not that much of a issue, just please refrain from doing this again in the future. Now secondly, the HD version on Steam uses a completely different style of modding than the original PC version so none of the mods from the original PC version will work on the HD version. There is no way of getting around that sorry.
