I have it on Ps2. The game is good and alot of fun, but very short. It is a good thing for people who did not played the original.
I liked the versus mode and music alot, but after 12 hours i was finished with the game and never touched it again ( story 5-6 hours). I think i had listened longer to its music (outside the game) than actual playing the game.
For max 20 Euro i would recommend the game, if you have not played it before
True, it's not long. The second time I beat it while skipping cutscenes it took me about an 1.5 hour. I was using one of the bonus "costumes", though, which made combat a cakewalk. However, Platinum games are never too long either and you don't see people complain about it. As with those games I think this one is meant to be played over and over again on higher difficulties to achieve better scores. Other than that these's the extra missions so it's not like theres nothing to do after you finish the story.
Other than that it's great that this will finally get a PC release. I hope that if this does well sales wise, it will convince konami to maybe rerealese some of the other games they sit on especially that they aren't willing to do anything new that's worth mentioning.

DarkSamus: No idea, I don't own a modern console. PS3 is my newest console and I have never tried to mod any games for it.
