SSAO and Bloom is working, but I don't like DoF so I don't know about it, and I'm using custom modified ENB by me for my personal use, and I can't post it here cuz I modified d3d9.dll file which is copyrighted to Boris Vorontsov... Okay never mind, i got ENB Series to work with RE 4 HD, without modifying any d3d9.dll xD I just combined 2 different ENBs I have almost all ENB effects now except DoF but thats not important, Bloom and SSAO + more is working

speaking of, is there a solid way to force ambient occlusion? apparently nvidia users can do this, and I tried the AMD way through RadeonPro and nothing seems to happen. does it just not work in some games?

Of course it will NOT always work with all games on both nVidia or AMD... Try it with some other ENB versions and enable SSAO/AO, for example ENB 4 GTASA can work good, you must try for yourself, cuz all systems and hardware/drivers are different...

Whenever I try to use my enb from my original res4 game, I get some crazy missing polygons and see through objects. Ive tried disabling SSAO, shadows, fxaa, pretty much everything and nothing will work. Any ideas? I really had my last game set to perfection so i really just want to see that color correction on this version and ill be a happy man

I used many times SweetFX in many games, and all works. IDK why RE4 HD don't want to open after install SweetFX (i used all the versions) I would really use SweetFX in this game too. It looks more sharpness and the textures more realistic

It works great, and doesn't cause any crashes or other problems (from what I can see). Extract into the Bin32 folder like the picture below Toggle ON/OFF = Scroll Lock key

Yeah, this totally doesn't work with my 770 gtx. I either get a black screen or a stopped responding message.
Anyone have an idiot guide on how to get this working on nvidia cards?

Guys, the crashes happen to everyone when the SweetFX dll files are in the RE4 exe directory. The game doesn't like anything else being in that folder.
The reason it works for me, as I said in the OP, is because I used RadeonPro to run SweetFX on the game through a different directory. Thus there are no extra dll files in the RE4 directory, launches fine.
I don't know what applications can do that for nVidia users, but if you use AMD, get RadeonPro and download the link in OP (other versions of SweetFX have not worked for me even using this method), tell RadeonPro where the sweetFX files are at, and enable it for RE4. bam.

I'm using an AMD HD 7770 and the version I linked above works perfect via the normal drag & drop method. Not sure why it doesn't work with Nvidia, but I also had trouble trouble getting other versions of SweetFX to work with RE4UHD on this card, before I luckily come across one that worked perfect. I'm not a fan of RadeonPro myself, that's the reason I use this method still. I like to keep things as simple as possible, without any mess

I tested the version you linked and it works with an AMD Graphics card, but on my Nvidia main gaming rig it just cause the application to show a black screen, weird I know. The solution seems to copy only d3d9.dll to the Bin32 folder and the rest of the files to the main Resident Evil 4 folder. After doing that I am enjoying using SweetFX on an Nvidia powered rig
Btw this method works even using the latest SweetFX 1.5.1...
