I'm trying to edit some weapon models, but i can't import them in game without bad positioning. I'm Using 3ds Max 8, Milkshape 3D 1.8.4, and Dr Emuler's PMD/SMD Converter. My 1st problem is that i cant use PMD Viever 1.2 to convert OBJ to PMD because i have JAVA Error (i've trided everything to fix it, even registry editing), so i'm using SMD converter, but convert from any converter to SMD results in mispositioned model. (for me right now is weapon not in hand but somewhere else). My 2nd problem is that my only possibility to import model in game is the Emuler SMD/PMD, because i couldn't find any other free SMD/OBJ to PMD converter I'm begging a good soul for any solution, or any other free converter compatible with my programs.

@kr1elr3r : Hello man, here some possible solutions.
1.- Maybe work well/good in 3dmax 2012 (For compatibility) 2.- I use Java 7u25 version ( 32bits in my case ) 3.- Smd error You must use simple names, do not use special characters like "'", "#", "ñ", none of them. 4.- Or maybe smd error is not assigned color/born in milkshape.
Regards!!

I have Paint.net (great program btw) my texture problem is that every texture is messed up, and now i see that some parts that shouldn't move, are moving while shoot and reload. Now i'm tired and i will reply tomorrow if i will fix anything.

Ok. After a battle with my own stupidity (because my errors were easy to fix, i had to think for a second) I've completed the model edit. All textures are in place and all weapon movable and non-movable parts are where they should be. One more thanks to david flores for your Java fix
