Greetings friends, here is a little teaser of something I have been working on for the past several months. I call this the Teleporter Room ! (sorry the sound is not audible in this video).. Made with Son Of Persia's 2017 UHD Toolset more details on release coming soon created by Mr.Curious 2017 There will be more information available about this mod when I release it in the near future. Enjoy!

so could you make this work for 2007 port i have both but i have a ton of mods on 2007 so will it work for 2007

hmmm . As is, this will not work for 2007 as the model structure and file systems are different. It might be possible to port this to 2007, but im still trying to finsih the UHD version. This took over 3 months to build for RE4UHD, so it takes a lot of time. =) EDIT HUNK Actually.. looking at the 2007 .dat file contents things look like they might be similar to UDAS contents. I will investigate this more. Do you know where are the texture packages located in 2007 version?

DAM :EDIT C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Resident Evil 4\xfile\em here i think im not much of a modder i only install them Yeah I remember trying to edit one of the ITA files for the old game and noticed that it has a different byte amount per AEV group which would make it lots of work fixing all the teleport entries (there are dozens and dozens.. one for every room in the game).. Also the 2017 stage editing tool does not work to open the stage model archives so there is no way for me to get in there presently. RE4UHD it is!

Cool , can't wait to get my hands on these tools yeah.. a word of advice. Stage modding RE4UHD is VERY complicated. I would not recommend this unless you have a lot of time on your hands. It took me 3 months to make this room working an average of 10 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Modding RE4UHD is quite difficult, but possible. Just be prepared to rip all your hair out and scream at the sky! =)

Just be prepared to rip all your hair out and scream at the sky! =) Thanks for the advice, yeah i know how state/map modding is complicated, making low poly meshes for collision, vertex painting for stage lighting/illumination, changing enemies, items, triggers coordinates. idk if Resident Evil 4 works like this because others games that i modded, like GTA San Andreas, we have to do all these stuffs, hope you make a tutorial when this tool comes out

Wonderful work man! Also is that checkered hallway a reference to Beetlejuice? Lol Good eye ! Yes actually it is a Beetlegeuse reference, and I'm glad this did not go unnoticed.. Also, the other hallway is also a reference to another film with a similar motif (Twin Peaks). Both film references explore the theme of the 'Underworld'... a place where lost souls go between life & death, which is something I felt the Transporter Room kind of does.. it allows us to transcend what we are normally capable of in the game, and allows us travel through time & space as a ghost of sorts..

Just be prepared to rip all your hair out and scream at the sky! =) "an average of 10 hours a day, 4-5 days a week"ohhhh my god if we had just one amazing person like you in capcom or if the uhd team had just %30 of your motivation re4uhd wasn't like that weak release you are incredibly amazing and clever and i love to call you Mr.Ingeniousi wish capcom was able to understand our feels and modders like you i am just imaging that if we had some diligent and smart guys like You, Son of Persia, Legal soul, Albert and Cris, 3getu841, Negarmax and...we could have the best remaster on this game a real UHD with lots of new stuffs and without limitations

seda Dear friend, thank you for your kind words... You have always been a benevolent and kind person in this community. I love all of your ideas and enthusiasm. I am no master though, only a humble student... It is the others you mentioned that are the true Masters... I have learned quite a bit in the last year though. I will be seeking employment as a video game developer and the years to come, and I am grateful for this impetus that I have experienced here at this forum. It is my hope that when son of Persia finally releases his tool set that this community will again flourish with people making mods day in and day out. I really wish some of the really experienced modders like Infernal, Codeman and the Japanese master Crzosk would return. In any case it is important for people like you as well to remain enthusiastic about releases, so thank you so much for your ongoing support and feedback friend. Forever Curious
