Tutorial - How to use downloaded savegame.sav files

Hi, dear friend! I only created this account to tell you that this tutorial is AMAZING! That is exactly what I was looking for <3 But.. there's something I didn't understand well. So I have this save file "unlocked". I was able to unlock the Handcannon and some more items. Thing is my save was converted and could use it in my steam account but the main menu of the game is still not "unlocked" like when you beat the game. There are no mercenaries and the other options in the menu.

I used a blank savegame and my other save file is unlocked but it didn't unlock my steam version of the game. Why this happened? What do I need to do? Do I need to finish the game quickly to unlock the game and the do the tutorial? Don't know what to do, mate. 

My 2nd run save says it's "corrupted" and I think it shows as being corrupted because my game is still locked? How can I unlock it? And one more question.. If I want to get all the Steam achievements, can I still do that even if I use my old save file? Will I be able to unlock all RE4 Steam achievements?

OMG you answered! So I only need to download that trainer and that's it? Does it unlock it automatically and it stays unlocked forever? Do you know where can I get the trainer? Thanks a lot, mate!
