The inventory models for Mercs are in ss_pzzl dat already. We can swap those out, but the hard part is getting the game to call on the real weapon. For some reason it calls on the handgun when using Leon and choosing the bow. I was able to to swap out the handgun & crossbow in the inventory fairly easily. The hard part is swapping out the in-game animations for weapons. Im nost sure yet where the limitation seems to originate I have done it. i can let Lyon use Krauser's bow and Ada's crossbow by cheat engine. hunk,wesker,krauser also can use leon's all weapons residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/14701/hunk-use-leons-weapons-bow?page=1#post-134983

But that is all. It is impossible to equip them. It crashes the game to equip other character's weapons.

I did this some time ago by myself but thank you for uploading this with best results. First I thought you did something to equip every character with all weapon but I have found some way to fix that too. All what you need is one simple script. Edit: German version isn't working so I swapped to english and everything is just fine. So maybe you should fix or remove german. Oh really ? What is the problem of my fix in German ? Still crashes after installing ? or textures are wrong ? By the way I once heard RE 4 German version is main game only. It does not contain optional game mode. Is that true ? Edit: French / Italian / Spanish users. I hope you would report here if this fix works or not in your language. Thank you. French version crash !
