Since the room where Salazar sends Leon into the pit is only presented via a cut-scene, I thought it would be good to share the entire scene in a video along with some comparison clips. For the best viewing experience, watch in full screen of course. Enjoy!

The shadow during gameplay isn't dynamic, right? So I suppose it's just a texture. Do you think it's possible to replace it with a sharp texture too? During the crane part where you dump the ganados in garbage- everything have hard shadow, including Leon. It'll be nice to have hard shadow texture during gameplay.

If I recall correctly, the shadows during the crane scene and during the cutscenes are dynamic. Unfortunatelly it's not possible porting that kind of shadows in actual gameplay. Well... not quite... it is possible but the game crashes if it's used in more than 3 or 4 characters/enemies at the same time or something like that. And it seems it must be ported room by room (again, if I recall correctly). So, no, it's not possible Could soemone correct me in case I'm wrong?

RE 3.5 had dynamic shadows even though the backgrounds were realtime. I guess this is how the game engine was made. So Capcom just ported the Ps3 version and put Ultimate Hd after it's name. I think it's not possible from Capcom by updates either. Cause they need to rework on the game engine itself.

I seriously want to re-play this game with these textures... they really do make the game more better when I mean better. I mean a thousand times better! I wonder how TRESSFX looks on Leon or other characters. But no way, that's an amd feature, that's in my don't do list.

In RE4, I doubt that TressFX can be made.

Yeah, I do doubt that TressFX hair can be modded into RE4. Would need changes in the engine I would expect.

The engine that RE4 runs on wasn't anywhere near capable of running something like that, unless there was an extensive modification done to the base code line. You'd probably be better off porting it to a new engine entirely lol
