nubtool There is a DAT extractor tool in the Model Importer Exporter Toolset by Son of Persia. Steps for extracting ss_pzzl.dat: 1 - Place the ss_pzzl.dat in a working directory along with teh DAT tools and DAT .bat files 2 - Use the DAT_Extract.bat to to extract the ss_pzzl.dat. A folder is created with a bunch of BIN & TPL files. 3 - Navigate to your Imagepack HD folder and copy the 3b000001.pack file to your working directory. If it has .lfs extension, use LFS tool to remove it beforehand. 4 - Place the YZ2 tool in the working directory and extract the textures from the 3b000001.pack using unpackall.bat file. 5 - Download the NEW 2018 BIN tools by Son of Persia HERE and place them in your working directory with the .bat files. 6 - run the BIN_Extract.bat file (no need to edit the .bat file as with the old tools. This new tool is magic) ! You will now see a bunch of new files have been generated including SMD & OBJ files. These files you can import into 3dsMax, Blender, Noesis, or MilkShape3d to view your models. Happy Modding! Thank you very much!

As far as I know Ada, Krauser, Hunk and Wesker use omk_pzzl.dat, however I found these characters' weapons in the ss_pzzl.dat file. It turns out Krauser's Bow, Ada's Shotgun are also in Leon's inventory, I think these weapons can be safely replaced with other copies that will take up less space, if this works, then it will be possible to bypass the weight limit for this file

Would you happen to know where the texture files for the actual Attaché Cases happen to be located, I think I have already gone through the entire Image Packs list manually and I've found everything else including the UI in it and all but I could not whatsoever locate the actual cases, I've been working mostly on reskins the last few days just for fun and customization desires, since I haven't finished off my model as of now. It is just that little thing that has been throwing me over the edge since I tried so hard to find it LOL, Pretty sure this info would help others too. Thanks ahead of time if you do know!

Cynthia~ - Looking at the files inside the SS_pzzl.dat and observing the BIN & the TPL files there shows us the answer to your question: So what you are looking at here is the ss_pzzl_401.TPL file which show us that 3b000001.pack is the file, and that BE is the texture used (BE in Decimal is 190, so the texture used is 0190.dds) This file is used for all sizes of the inventory case. There is usually no real need to guess where textures are, as finding textures is easy and is pointed out to us in the Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Model Importer/Exporter Toolset tutorial , which IMO, is essential reading if you are modding this game. In this tutorial Son of Persia explains to us how to locate the TPL for any BIN model. It is usually the one closest in number to the BIN (so in this case it is ss_pzzl_402.BIN and ss_pzzl_401.TPL).

Oh my god, such a sneaky little file, not to mention I had already messed with those items a lot before I just didn't know that 190 was the case file, thank you so much, I appreciate it a lot!! And thanks for the advice, it's been tough trying to jam as much info in my head about the UHD version in such a short time, I'll definitely follow up more on those files and notes everyone has put out.

When Leon’s weapon appears in the mercenary’s backpack, the game will collapse. In the 2007 version, this can be solved by modifying ss-pzzl.dat and omk-pzzl.dat. Can this problem be solved in the 2014 version?

I have successfully solved Hank's use of Leon weapons. But the Leon weapon appeared in Hank's backpack, which caused the game to crash. If you use raz0r's modifier, Hank's weapons will be locked into tmp and grenade. I am helpless about this
