A little Experiment (it stayed experimental cuz this mod gives me Enviroment light bugs U_U)
*Pics Omg ! Do you want to make it available some time? :v I loved it, it was amazing.

Old render on my now dead laptop. I have to redo all my higher res character textures at some stage. :/ A friend of mine did a nice fan art for me for my birthday too, it's awesome. 👌 I'd post it but it's a ship one and I know some people would likely cause a fuss about it. That and it'd just make me tempted to post my own ones.

Overseer Trying to render on Blender internal.First time :/ I don't use Blender, the other render I posted up was from my old laptop - I didn't have the full size render from my files as I lost all my work with my old laptop, but I'll be rendering out at full sizes with the new one so noise and stuff won't be a problem. Though I prefer having a little bit of noise on things as it helps stop the shiny plastic look from being too much that usually is a source of dislikes from me when it comes to renders or rendering in general. I see you've got some kinda dodgy normals going on so you'll probably have to tweak the visibility of those. Texture-wise, much better as some of the bumps and specular have been a bit too much for my tastes.

Got it ! I'll adjust this, as I said, it's my first time. Johnny Valentine It's okay, i understand Sir :c Well, it looks very good for your first time rendering it out that way! I generally redo all my additional mapping as I don't like everything having a random shiny look, or there being excessive texture - I screwed up on this old render though because the collar area of the suit shouldn't have had so much sheen on it, same with the gloves too with only ambient lighting instead and it was something I needed to fix but just never got around to it. If you don't need backfaces on, then you could probably turn them off and see if they won't render. Otherwise some of the normals may need to be tweaked a little as they shouldn't be loading up on there, unless there's like a shadow LOD group or something that hasn't been removed from the model you were using? Reminds me I need to fix some normals, though I don't really know if it would be OK to post some of the renders or art I've been working on in free time because there's some character pin-ups of some of my favourites.

I don't even have it installed, sorry. I use 3DS Max instead. ^^; There are a few decent tutorials on DeviantArt that should help with it, so maybe look there and on some of the 3D Artist sites?
