I was going for a nice vintage, authentic look here. I've always thought the rifle most favored the Springfield, which is a proven classic. I don't think these were ever issued with brass butt-plates, but we'll chalk that up to artistic license A nice piercing firing sound, as well as a satisfying ratchety scope-in sound are included in the package. Thanks alot!
Unfortunately i'm not sure what I am doing wrong when repacking my .xwb's. I am using Xact3 to create new wave banks. I make sure to add each .wav in the order they originally came in, and I am pretty sure my replacement files are configured to match the bitrate/frequency of the defaults. I set it to streaming as well. All I know is that my package causes the game to crash when loading files from it :/

I assume "Streaming" is wrong. >> I make sure to add each .wav in the order they originally came in Yes. You need to add each .wav in the same order that you see when they are extracted by unxwb.

Thanks! Unfortunately I have several other skins I'd like to release, but I suspect there is a pretty low ceiling for polycounts... Anything under 5k faces seems to work, but above that the game just crashes when trying to load the weapon :/
A beautiful, master-crafted port, as Son of Persia would say...

Had to give the pistol a quick spin. It looks, and especially sounds, great! Good job!

This models seems to be really nice, but i don't know why that don't work for me... For exemple, there are strange things like my original file is "02000001.pack.lfs" and the modded file is "02000001.pack"... So nothing come if i just copy the file. I try to delete the originale, and rename the modded 02000001.pack.lfs but now game crash... I really have no hope anymore, i don't know what's the prob. For now my originale files are back, but that's really sad, i want these weapons ! (Springfield and M1911 look to be nice). Please if someone can help me, will be kind XD

So this should be an easy fix, you almost had it. You want to remove the original files, like you did, but do not rename the modded files. The lfs extension has something to do with compression and doesn't need to be there for the mod to work. The important part is the actual filename and not the extensions. Personally, I rename the original file to "02000001Original.pack.lfs" and leave it in the folder so that if I need to go back, the file is right there, but removing the file works just the same. There's also this great mod installation tool!I hope that helps!

Don't know ^^ I noticed with the Spingfield that it doesn't work if you have a scope attached (another fun quirk of the game, guns with attachments are loaded as totally different models). Try it out without the large scope or thermal scope attached and it might work!

The link is at the top of the description. That mod provides the 'inspect' model, I just retextured it and added sounds: )
