Here's what I got to say about the game...
The overall story is short, I only took literally a couple of hours in a day to complete the game. I believe that this game could've been improved in some ways. The story could've been a bit longer, the quickest time I have taken to complete this game is 5 hours if the game was longer the boss fights wouldn't have occurred quickly.
Phone calls all the time, that tells you what to do, well only some. They could've involved some plot twists... such as the person on the phone be evil when they meet.
The whole game is somewhat based on only two location (Or three), not going to reveal them as they would be a spoiler. However the whole game is only in this two location, sure they may go somewhere else in this location but really? Remember back in RE3, you used to explore different parts of the Raccoon city? There used to be many locations, new enemies (I get on to that below), new things that players can explore and obviously nemesis is still looking for you then you get to clock tower then dead factory, if this game had that sort of idea, it would've been brilliant.
Enemies... there literally like the same enemy over and over only getting introduced to four enemies in the whole game exclude the baker family.
I personally felt the second place they go, is like a copy from RE Revelations but with some editing.

RESIDENT EVIL 7: biohazard All additional content. {Spoiler} "Banned Footage Vol. 1"
Escape a bedroom turned prison cell in "Bedroom"
Where would the Baker family be without Marguerite's good ol' home cooking?
Having woken up restrained in bed with one of her horrifying meals before you,
you must find a way to escape without her noticing.
Fight off waves of bloodthirsty enemies in "Nightmare"
Tossed into a basement crawling with lurching black Molded, your only chance
is to shoot your way to survival. Keep moving, keep your wits about you, and
keep hope alive, and maybe you can survive until morning…
Extra game mode: "Ethan Must Die"
Unlike the banned footage chapters, which are linked directly to the main story of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, "Ethan Must Die" hurls you into an entirely separate universe where the Baker mansion has been remade: It is now a trap-laden house of horrors designed to kill any intruder. Prepare yourself for the ultimate challenge!
Note: This extra game mode does not support PlayStation®VR.
"Banned Footage Vol. 2"
Gamble with your life in "21"
There's something wrong with the Bakers' son Lucas. He likes to play games with his captives, and his newest playmate is you. You'd better be lucky at cards, because each time you lose, you'll be giving up something a lot more valuable than money…
Tragedy befalls an innocent family in "Daughters"
Gain new insight into the people the Bakers used to be. This banned footage reveals the tragedy that led to the events in RE7's main story.Extra game mode: "Jack's 55th Birthday"
Check out the lighter side of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. In this extra game mode, jolly ol' Jack has a hankering for some grub on this special day, his 55th birthday! Search the house, fight off enemies, and find enough food to fill Jack's belly and make this the best birthday ever! Note: This extra game mode does not support PlayStation®VR.

So the main game is 60 $ and the story is too short. Lack of enemies. And whatnot?
People in YouTube are telling me, this game has gone back to its roots and that I have no knowledge of games since I based my opinion playibg the demo and watching the whole story and walk through on YouTube.
Fcuk this game has nothin. Remember Resident Evil 1? It was just a mansion but there were different places, secrets, different enemies, different looking zombies and a big story.
RE7 is literally Crysis 3 with Molds instead of Aliens.
And guess what, 60 $ game with absolutely nothing. Now they will release stupid DLCs with 60$ more and complete the game? DLC contents that should have been in the base game? They can't make a complete game in 3 years?
Hell, even RE Revelations had bigger story. And thanks to make the game at FPS cam, it might not be easy to make it TPS. TPS to FPS conversion is much easier.
But why the game is too short.
I hope they make all the DLCs free of cost.

Resident Evil 7 - World Wide Version Good times ahead. So Once you buy Japanese Version, should't Grotesque version already get unlocked? Only get restricted for users below 18 years? Why sold seperately? And I thought, once you Buy RE7/Biohazard 7, it will be globally unlocked. Expect when you play in Japan, the title will automatically change to BioHazard?

Yes, Japanese get 2 versions for the price of one when they buy Bio 7. They get both the ones that are on my steam account.
Low Violence = No dismemberments at all Grotesque version = dismemberments shown but still censored.
What they don't get is what the rest of the world gets... RE7 - World Wide = Most violent version of a RE7 experience you can get.
Buy in the USA and get RE7 - World Wide permanently. Buy in Japan and you get both the low violence and grotesque versions permanently.

Why sold seperately? And I thought, once you Buy RE7/Biohazard 7, it will be globally unlocked. Expect when you play in Japan, the title will automatically change to BioHazard? Japan has a gore rating that functions in a similar fashion as an adult only rating restriction and the gore censorship has been on-going in the series in Japan since Biohazard 4. It hasn't been too big of a problem with the past few games as the game over screens obscure most of the gore going on, and there's not really been major limb decapitation or grotesque bodily harm visually seen inflicted. Psycho Break / The Evil Within was initially released as Cero D - that is without gore in it, but it had a DLC update/patch to enable Cero Z. Grasshopper Manufacture's Lollipop Chainsaw also released with both Cero D and Cero Z versions. It all literally pertains to gore content, though Cero Z is also supposed to apply to foul language and other things - REV2 was Cero D in comparison. CERO was really only established officially in like 2002 or so off the top of my head so that's why it's been going on from the JP side since Bio4 more or less. I can't remember the actual story and reasoning behind it, but basically anything with too much gore and the like has to be split into Cero Z but because the series was always previously released as Cero D - that's why there's two versions and unless you intentionally get a specific version (unless what has happened with the Steam regional problem) then you generally get defaulted to the Cero D one in a similar fashion to Germany and Australia typically getting defaulted to bloody low-violence versions / censored versions of games. And no, that's not how it works within the games or within Steam. The games are passed through are the regional version of the game for the region of your storefront which is also logged with your IP as to use the store itself. Like as long as you can provide an actual payment method, you can buy things from other regional storefronts but certain ones are locked down for trading capability because it'd be easy to abuse it due to currency conversion rates and particular regions having games cheaper due to their general cost of living standard being far lower than other countries. Japan, Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) and South Korea all have their own individual versions of Biohazard. JP doesn't always include English text, if it does then it may be one of the China/Hong Kong/Taiwan releases and those also have individual regional language sets like Pinyin in use. Korea have their own regional ones under what was formerly KokoCapcom, which has now been renamed but I'm forgetting the new name but they started off with REV2 and have gone and released Remake and Zero localized in Korean too most recently in the region. Australia and New Zealand typically fall under the PAL/European territory umbrella, but occasionally get put under the Asia release umbrella. In all fairness, we do have a fairly large association in terms of certain demographics, merchandising and the like so I can see how it happens sometimes and it saves me money on import costs or currency conversion as to avoid needing to swing by shops when I'm in Tokyo.
