I, never in my life, purchased a DLC. DLC sucks ass, period. I only consider and rate a game based on the real game. I'm sorry but these days DLC is inevitable and often times it really does increase the replayability of the game. Let me add that I'm not all for it however, and I am definitely against day one or pre order DLC. That practice is wrong on many levels because essentially you are locked away from content since the game's out. developers nowadays play some sort of exploitation game with their costumers.

Overseer I am not very familiar with the language, can you read that paragraph? What does it say?

Overseer I am not very familiar with the language, can you read that paragraph? What does it say? It's just stating that 7 will be officially released for PS4, Xbox One and PC in January and that in spring 2017 (no exact release date given) will see the release and distribution of a free DLC titled "Not A Hero". No further details are given regarding this or the other DLCs. The rest of it is the general story blurb for 7 regarding Ethan and so-on. Info on the DLC will be released in the next report by Famitsu. Will likely require the main story to have been completed, but it's also specifically said to be a short scenario one that ought to be different to Ethan's side of things, but again details of it will be released in the next Famitsu report. Vague press releases as seems to be the standard regarding 7 or it's DLC.

Thanks you so much. I imagine that if we had a co op type of gameplay in this game we would've heard of it by now.

I, never in my life, purchased a DLC. DLC sucks ass, period. I only consider and rate a game based on the real game. First DLC is going to be free, so...? Lots of games have DLC nowdays, I don't like it but you can't change it, its the best way to make extra cash. P.S. We might expect a complete edition after all DLC is released.

Deluxe editions were always physical if I'm not mistaken, up until the previous era when DLC became common practice.
It doesn't mean it's OK to hold content back for the sake of making it DLC later down the line. REV2 had day one costume DLC that might as well had been a part of the main game content (we always had extra "themed" costumes included in every game for free) but in fact they were all on disk and accessible at least on PC.

I was talking about the standard edition by the way. Deluxe Edition is expensive.

Only for whatever is included within the season pass set. The free DLC is stated to be a standalone one, meaning it's not included within the season pass for starters. Additionally regarding the Deluxe Edition, it's not available in all countries like in Australia there is only the standard which is $89.95 or the "Limited Edition" which depending on the retailer is a normal case or a steelbook case includes the survival pack dlc, and a download code for 4 HD which is $109.95 which is kind of odd because there was actually marketing for the Deluxe Edition in Oceania around the $150-$200 RPP but it's not showing up on any retailer listings from what I'm seeing. So with that in mind, it looks like there's odds of there being DLC not included in the season pass which would be rather shitty, but not all that unexpected considering it's Capcom we're talking about.

I never purchase DlC* If its free, I do download it then. I know its their money maker, I know... But I judge the base game only which is already like 60$ most of the time? DLC is only good if the base game has given enough enjoyment. But no point in buying a 60 $ game that delivers nothing, then adds 60 $ more DlC to have complete experience. Agree with you. As long as tge base game is fun enough. Only then DlC is fine. Thats why I judge the base game and not with the DLCs.

That's what they're trying to do, the standalone game will provide you satisfaction but the open ended nature will make you want more, and that's where you're going to get it if you want to know more or to get the full idea. Like how Separate Ways is in RE4 or Lost in Nightmare in RE5. you don't need to expect it after release. you can already buy it... the "deluxe" will grant you access to all DLC whenever they release. Only for whatever is included within the season pass set. Yup, I don't remember DLC Story expansions being in the Deluxe Edition either, if anything it gives you those bunch of items and kits among other things.

At first the expansions weren't named but now they're named (not just Banned Footage Vol etc..).
