As if Capcom or Valve give a shit about us, though. We'll never get a workshop, nor should we.

Is not possible that the online features were to link the account with the RE.net web or the Steam profile to verify the autenticity of the product? Or the workshop hints maybe they were for the beta version of RE7 but once ported in Steam, they locked the debug options? O_ò

That's most likely. The workshop part is, as I said, generic code that comes as part of Steam DRM.

One question, in the RE7 demo, at the attic, the photo of the helicopter, is that the umbrella logo on it?

One question, in the RE7 demo, at the attic, the photo of the helicopter, is that the umbrella logo on it? Umbrella Corps logo most likely. It is and the e-Capcom book has it on it too. Ties into what's been going on with Heavenly Island and the Umbrella Corps connection. And the multiplayer bit could just purely be part of the storefront and the RE.net overlay bit, though there are actually references to player 1, player 2 in other parts. We're only looking at strings in a Trial Edition so I'm just keeping that in mind.

HI modders and mod fans I have been with you guys since the older forum back in my resident evil 4/5days where I was spending days playing these games, not to mention modding the heck out of them to so today i decided to break my silence on a few things concerning resident evil 7: biohazard now I have been a fan since 1998, I first experienced RESIDENT EVIL 1 which at the time was one of the most scariest games out at the time which I quickly learned to appreciate, then came the famous RESIDENT EVIL 2 (waiting on that remake any day now!!!) and this games till this day still tops the charts. I really appreciated how Capcom put so much LOVE into the game I just love the tone.. but getting to the point I also love 4,5,6 I feel as though those games are stepping into a new era meaning birthing a new generation of characters. which is why I would love to see Capcom use these characters who survived these horrific experiences... now with 7 I'm really wanting to give it a chance to try but I feel as though they should have at least gave the 3rd person camera an option . plus we are playing as a character that Capcom (excuse my slang) just pulled out of their a**es, I don't know maybe I'm wrong maybe he is connected to the overall storyline in some way just really thought Capcom wouldn't gut the game like that but part of me want to knows what happens with the story in 7 so I will tune in VIA youtube watching non commentary walkthroughs. anyway at least resident evil 4 ,5 and 6 are fun games but I just hope that resident evil 8 doesent even consider a first person camera I'm sorry but its just horribly boring to play a whole entire game in first person with no options hopefully this just a different approach with no continuation in the main franchise....

"A character Capcom just pulled out of their asses"
Newsflash: The entire RE franchise only exists because because Capcom couldn't let the cash cow die, and thus continued to pull things out of their asses time and time and time and time again.

And vice versa, I think I also could have deal with the 1st person camera if my loved RE characters were there, but... other time will be.

Isn't FPS camera a good decision for this game? That way you won't know if you're playing with Leon/Ada/Chris/Gill etc etc and thus you won't be disappointed for not having old characters.

in my personal opinion first person was the worst decision i mean i can swallow the big pill that our beloved characters are taking a backseat to a main game title entry and i could even deal with if you had to first complete the game to unlock 3rd person but for capcom to say the entire game is first person it really puts me in the mind frame that this is just another cgi movie b4 vendetta just in first person or thats how at least i will treat it into the remake finally is put to the fourth-front

Wow runon sentences.
*1 hour later*
Right... except nah. The game's marketing implies it's an Outlast clone (which is bad) but if you did even a SLITHER of research you'd realize it's pretty much going to be "RE1-3 but in first person". Asides, from the demo, the first person perspective lets them get away with a LOT more in the realm of horror
