............. ( opens the image............hmmm?) Where are the ugly people you are talking about, i don't see any? Your looks doesn't matter. There's no need to call yourself ugly lol. Anyway, There is an EyE on your dish. Beside it, remains some suspicious triangular things! Is this coincidence? I think not! Self-depreciating sense of humour and I put it under a link as this is not the selfie thread. ^^; Well, there was also a dish in the shape of a Licker which I also had too but that was another one of the overall 2 ones around specifically for The Real 2 which was redesigned for The Real 3 version which I believe was geared towards the Umbrella side of things in association but still around the popular Raccoon City scenario. The Wikia has photos of the giftshop, and I can outright say that there was even less stuff on display when I went! These are back around July or so, when I went they didn't even have REV2 out and part of the display of titles in the gift shop. There was absolutely no REV2 merchandise, because I picked up a piece of each individual one that was available and this is some of it (the S.T.A.R.S. mug and patch were ordered at the time, but hadn't actually released until months later via e-Capcom, so pay no mind to them) - but you can see the clipboard, R.P.D. mugs and whatnot in the photos. So I can confirm a lack of marketing and merchandising overall at the time prior, during and after the release of REV2. If you look carefully you'll see Remake, 5, 6 and REV guidebooks, art books, soundtracks, prop items like the Arklay Mansion keys or S.T.A.R.S. ID wallets/custom ID cards which were both originally a prize item until the demand was recognized and they became an actual item set. So this is what I mean by REV2 can't really be compared to 6 or 7 in terms of budgeting as I'm referring to both the game and how the marketing was handled. Like in comparison, even in my region that is pretty much infamous for never ever getting any sort of merchandise in general - there's even stuff for 7 in stores but it is of very cheap material from a general touch in contrast to say.... some of the Square-Enix t-shirts that came in which are of the same standard as the expensive Tokyo Phantom / e-Capcom t-shirts so I would've expected better quality, instead of a very cheap synthetic material (that smooth, stretchy kind that often feels itchy that I can't remember the name of) that was popular for cheap printed design shirts back in like.... 2002. Also on the subject of merchandising and pertaining to the characters and Tokyo Phantom replicas, none of the characters in 7 really have anything unique to their outfits so the only clothing merchandise I've seen thus far is all pertaining to promotional imagery which is pretty 'meh' in my opinion. The Tokyo Phantom shirts so far - Red T-shirt.Black T-shirt.Which if people will recognize, are the same promotional shirts from the events in general though the JP versions. The English ones are things like these, which I guess are fine if you want to smother yourself in the game logo. Like at that stage you may as well do an Itasha with your car and have a cutesy version of the one character people have likely been exposed to in general marketing, which would be..... Jack? Cap.Shirt. Shirt #2. Keyring.Wallet.

my point was exactly that, thank youi thought maybe i'm the only one who is thinking that animations are weird now i'm glad of reading your opinionNo, Leon's head shape is completely different. He doesn't look like RE6 or Damnation. He looks similar but not good enough. You are right. IMO, he looks like DSC Leon Head, Damnation Hair (a bit shorter tho) , RE4 Brows & Lips, and RE6 beard. Pretty much that's it. He does looks different, but he IS STILL Leon for me. (at least)

But he also looks like aas if Umbrella caught Leon's from all of the games and then experimented his face by putting different parts from each game lol.

Another Wesker? Seriously, though, you got to go do all these really cool Resident Evil fan things. I'm very jealous of you right now (you also speak fluent Japanese, which I'm also very jealous of).

Sorry i couldn't resist What did you expect RE7 protagonist to look like? Bullet proof west, 7 belts, fabulous haircut and a dragon ball scouter!? Ethan is going to check out a house in a middle of the swamp in hot as fuck Louisiana. Of course he dressed lightly. @henryque999 Você é um guerreiro em colocar todos esses "espaços" na frase pra poder centralizar xD É um dom meu xD Cool English you got there.

What did you expect RE7 protagonist to look like? Bullet proof west, 7 belts, fabulous haircut and a dragon ball scouter!? Yep - Actually i think its funny that you can just find similar "Everyday-Clothing" on your Wardrobe and call it a RE7 Cosplay.. It could've been like Revelations 2, Like at least spending some money on stuff to make a gear, Well.. The CHARACTER itself should have at least a basic gear so the cosplay with it would make a little sense... I mean, where does Ethan put all his weapons anyway? [ The one he's carrying] ( Which in this case he could find it somewhere on the game [Gear]). But i'm just not making sense at all [ Wasted all my time typing so in the end i remember there's Backpacks on the game, But i'm not deleting this post xD] So you can just ignore this quote (Speaking in another language its permitted as long as its not the main post) < 2nd Quote. It's not like the photo I posted was meant to be taken seriously.

I don´t think you should give explanations of a funny pic or language No les hagas caso ;*
getting back to your pic, yes it would be boring to see this in conventions I mean... Even peter griffin have a better chance to be a bit "Harder" to cosplay

footage of RE7 when it was in early development. they mention that they initially used Unity engine for quick prototyping. later on in the video they switch to super early build footage in the RE engine.

I just fail to understand their use of Unity whatsoever - especially for Umbrella Corps. I view it as the ugly sister of Unreal3. I wish there was an explanation on the transition and temporary use of Unity.
Is RE Engine based on MT or Unity?

Unity wasn't used for the development, and I'm guessing the RE engine was either based of MT or completely done from scratch. The thing Unity was used for was rapid prototyping, as it's very easy to set up tests for mechanics in unity. this would allow for quick testing of ideas for the game, whether they were mechanics ideas or just other design aspects of the game. As a person who has worked with unity for both full projects and just testing I can see why they used it for these kinds of concept tests/design tests/prototypes.

I wish there was an explanation on the transition and temporary use of Unity. Is RE Engine based on MT or Unity? Given that Simplygon stuff is used, it would've been either Unreal or Unity based as Simplygon is easily integrated within either of those two engines off the bat, same with Wwise audio for audio processing. There's texture channel rendering that's handled in a similar fashion closer to the Unity set up, but the rest of it is towards Unreal. In all honesty, it all seems to be like an in-between thing, but more customized in comparison to Umbrella Corps containing base Unity v5 engine stuff in it. Either way, I hate having to deal with the extra colour channel work on them sometimes when it comes to having to mod them in the past. Reminds me of having to fiddle with the .TIMs for the older games. Give away on it probably would be however the native bind poses were being handled, Unity generally has either the direct T or an in-between of that and the Unreal bind, Unreal usually used the lowered arms last time I checked. Unreal was easier to unpack, repack for modding purposes in comparison to Unity being a pain in the ass (I've been fiddling with Umbrella Corps the last couple of weeks) but at least there's some general idea of certain components. Like unpacking audio via Wwise toolsets and so-on. I'd guess Unity for Umbrella Corps would've just been because it was there and it didn't require much tweaking before the last few games haven't been that far apart in terms of mechanics but there were clear changes in how Umbrella Corps handles stuff (going up the walls and so-on).
