Their wardrobe also doesn't reflect their "everyman" trait you guys attribute to them. Leon especially, with that padded overalls police suit of his. I believe this is what they call artstyle

I believe this is what they call artstyle It sounds more like "artstyle mixed with conceptual thought process and several hundred hours of research". Their looks are not meaningless, they can't be since they were designed not to be.

If so then watch the intro to RE3 and check how many police officers have the same uniform as him before telling me that both Leons and Claire's costumes were designed specifically for them to look distinctive among other characters. I'm playing trough RE2 right now and as far as I can tell there's nobody, dead or alive, in the station with that uniform. If you want to be so specific you can also tell me how Leon got his uniform before first reporting at the station on his first day.

Maybe I haven't explained myself correctly because I can't understand what your stance on the subject is. Do you agree or disagree? I think that the main characters in RE2 have unique and out of the ordinary designs. They could have had them wear simple and comfortable clothing, but they didn't. This is why I hate Ada's reimagined RE2 look with the sheer stockings and high heels - look how ridiculous she looks in Umbrella Chronicles with the strategically placed bandages. In RE2 nobody but Leon had this uniform on, because it was made specifically for his character, but to make things make more sense Outbreak games a few other characters, namely what's his name wearing it. It shows that this is a uniform that was issued to police officers in RPD. I agree that it's silly he arrives to the city dressed in it, but I suppose criticizing the lack of additional costume soley for the intro section is a technicality. I hate Leon's design and I think it suffers from "concept artist that try to stretch the believability of their western world based design" syndrome. Many characters from REV suffer from the same thing.

Many characters from REV suffer from the same thing. Ah, excuse me, it maybe was me who misunderstood you. Yes, I do agree that their wardrobe was designed specifically for them, but for that reason I don't think that just because Claire has a knife holster means she's trained or prepared- it's just an extra detail for her to look more unique. With this logic we could argue if they train how to use rocket launchers at the police academy. Despite how they look I do believe that both Claire and Leon were made to be the everymen. If you read the descriptions in the manual there's nothing out of the ordinary written about these characters, even in game they behave relatively normal (for RE standards anyway). Leon is a well meaning, naive cop who has a bad day on the job, and Claire is the big sister type through and through. Hardly exceptional. As for Ada's attire RE2 is still my favorite incarnation of the character. Can't really say much about her depiction in the Chronicles games, but from the looks it seems that other then the high heels she looks relatively the same.

I doubt we'll get the PS4 button icons directly because PS4 .isos are encrypted to hell and back.

Sometimes they leave the PS buttons in the PC release, but in some cases they don't too.
Also, this is EPIC!
Something I learned from this video is the cops name. David Anderson is the name of one of my best friends growing up in the 80s.

She came prepared, and she knew how to handle a knife and several firearms efficiently. She starts off her game with the exact set of abilities that Leon gets - a professionally trained cop, and while his field experience is very little he manages through. i always thought this was kinda funny, the first time i saw her reloading the G. Launcher that quick i was like ''that shit looks fucking complicated!, how does she do that?'' even the spark shot, if i ever see something like that i would be more scared about getting my ass electrocuted than using that against zombies lol

It's a firearms mechanic that's roughly 200 years old.

At that speed looked quite funny, i remember the beta reload speed from the 1.5 was way slower, i wonder why they changed it...

At that speed looked quite funny, i remember the beta reload speed from the 1.5 was way slower, i wonder why they changed it... The earlier version had more enemies spawned in certain areas and some of the enemies had higher poly counts than the final version so part of it could be attributed to lag. I can't remember beyond there was occasionally a frame rate associated lag drop with certain sprites getting loaded up (grenades) but they were still working in the raw, I'd have to go and fish the raw build out and dump out the models & animations again to compare the animation frame counts. And sharontubul is correct about Kevin also wearing the same uniform as Leon. Kevin also knows Leon too. There's also the thing that the uniform variations are more or less negligible because many police forces have a variety of weather or rank specific uniform differences. There's also the possibility that what Leon and Kevin are wearing are the newer uniforms, because if everyone will also recall - S.T.A.R.S. were supposed to get their own specific uniform (which is what Chris is wearing in CV), but in the meantime it certainly doesn't appear that Albert was particularly strict about the uniform policy (look at Forest!) provided they did what they were supposed to do in the first place. Of course, there's certainly odd design decisions that I like to choose to forget: Bio1 Jill having a single leg on her trousers because the other was ripped off, was scrapped until it got brought back with Jessica. Bio1 Barry originally being a giant cyborg character (they were all pretty much supposed to be a cyborg security team) that reminds me more of Guile than anything. Bio2 Ada originally running around in a top, shorts with a lab coat on being 'Linda' - no red dress to be seen. Bio CV Steve was originally blonde, then there's also the blatant German stuff going on with the Ashfords that got edited out too. Zero Rebecca and Billy... weren't initially in it, there was punk looking characters that were civilians or something and Billy also looked totally different too off the top of my head. Though I really think the fact that Jessica's wetsuit design exists says enough about certain bad designs coming about. The characters of 7 don't have anything particularly unique about any of their outfits, like even less than the Outbreak characters that I can actually recall and visualize in my mind and I think that adds to the reason why they all blend together to me and don't stand out at all. It's like... how do I put it... when you have people that make up original characters. Tons of people make up these super overpowered characters (see: Alice in the movies), and you have people countering this by making more normal characters that may be a bit bland, like instead of going the whole 'test subject, wanted by Umbrella, magic blood, SUPER POWERS' route because it gets kinda annoying and cringey when it's done over and over again... someone else makes a normal character like an Outbreak one, or may make one that can cross the paths of main characters like.... someone could have a TerraSave or B.S.A.A. member OC instead. That's just how it feels like to me.

RE7's outfits are just kinda... there, I guess? Even Outbreak had outfits that made sense. The railway worker looked like a railway worker, the waitress looked like a waitress, the reporter looked a reporter, etc etc. They were wearing "ordinary" clothes but it still fit THEM. Ethan wears... a shirt, and trousers. Mia wears a tanktop and trousers. It's like they just googled "clothes" and pick the top google results.
