I see... I actually use some of your mods. >w< Like I said it's sad modding for Rev1 is dead on tracks. Modding for these games seems so complicated all around. It confuses me how some people can still keep track of certain things. I think what bothers me a bit are most of the broken or removed links. :c its because people dont usually upload to sites that are live for more then a year thats why most links are dead xD and yeah well i liked Rev1 to one point but then again looking at that jill face makes me sad so i just want to forget about it XD

I tried for a year and appealed to various modding people to receive a normal RE5 face mod fixes for Jill and all to no avail. It's sad, but yes, modding for this game has died!

I tried for a year and appealed to various modding people to receive a normal RE5 face mod fixes for Jill and all to no avail. It's sad, but yes, modding for this game has died! The problem is that modding for the series is quite fiddly now in contrast to how easy it was to mod Bio4. Previously you could do it in very cheap software like Milkshape and use things like Rig-o-Matic to speed up things and make modifications within Milkshape to the model rigging, but in order to do things now you need Blender (which the script for Blender only works for Bio6 and REV) or a specific version of 3DS Max to do things for 5, Bio HD, Zero HD and REV2. I just dug out 3DS Max to begin doing model editing and have been trying to figure it out as there are differences between how each game handles the models with the LOD groups. Bio5 is different to Bio6 & REV, and those are also different to Bio HD, Bio Zero HD and REV2 which are another "group" in how they handle things in a particular manner. Most of the tutorials around are in video format and I haven't found things pertaining to specific LOD groups to be used or root bones to modify things specific to each title. Like Bio6 and REV had LOD Group 0, but others use LOD Group 1, or 255 and so-on. I don't know what is what per game, or what bones things should be assigned to in order to remove parts. I've been looking at a few of the various videos, the last time I had any progress on this front was when I had started porting Bio4 Albert to REV but I've had problems with models that I've downscaled and changed the LOD group names out still displaying. If someone like maybe EvilLord or someone could give me some pointers, I've not used 3DS Max in a very long time so I need to relearn it then I'd be willing to do model ports and the like too so he and others don't continually get requests to port things... just to me... I am getting confused when I do things in it. I'd rather learn how to do things than to ask or beg people to do things for me, but I feel like it would be very annoying to ask people and I am very shy as I don't want to be a bother.

There is some tutorials that will be helpful to those who are even slightly familiar with these programs. But who does not have prior knowledge in Blender, 3DS Max, these tutorials are useless, because there is no detailed step by step setup for beginners.
