You can have a Core2Quad running at 4GHz, doesn't mean that it will run well at all. Well intel tends to be very good

The best price/performance card on the market atm is a GTX 970, if that helps. _____Damn yeah, nVidia 970 for the win! You can be a bit of a lunatic with a budget to justify and still come out with a beast of a machine. You COULD get a 980, but why? What, ten percent more performance for a few hundred more bucks? Yeah, and nVidia because we haven't run an AMD card here in the lab since the last decade. Go for the nVidia 970. And I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Zotac build. I'll tell ya why... _____Because the nVidia Zotac build can run triple monitors! It's an nVidia single-card gpu that is more than capable of running triple-monitors, medium to high settings, at 60fps! Heh-heh... They said it couldn't be DONE! Heh-heh, they said we were CRAZY! But when we mounted three fifty-inch HDMI panels to one card and cranked that sucker on, all doubt was silenced! Or, that could've been because we chopped up the doubters and fed 'em to whatever's growin' in the bioractor.

Triple monitors is a bit of a gimmick that's more of a sign of wealth than anything.
Also, you freak me out, I'm just gonna... block you, now.

_____Triple monitors, a gimmick? Hah! TRIPLE-HAH! Dudes, you have not LIVED 'till you've built yourself a mucker-forkin' high-resolution VIDEO WALL MADE FROM FIFTY-INCH PANELS! Whenever we wanna go for maximum data display, we have the lab-slaves set 'em side-by-side landscape-style. But we mostly have 'em set in the "landscape" configuration. Whenever Cyn plays GTA V or Resident Evil games, it's like the characters are LIFE-SIZED! _____The only downside? Whenever we need to work in VR, we have to switch the cables over to a spare panel. That's 'cause triple monitors hog all the HDMI-capable ports on the lab's main workstation. That, and I don't think all the popcorn kernels in this bag got popped after I put it in the microwave. That last bit might have NO relation to dealing with the setup, or it might. Gosh knows how many times we've dimmed the town's lights with our experiments. Screw 'em; we're havin' a blast.
