If you use XNALara you can download all models and save the preview image with an alpha channel, so you don't need to cut everything up manually. Also not sure if it is just me, but those preview images are a tad small, makes it really hard to see the difference. It looks good though

Okay, I managed to get both the models and the program up and running, although I'm struggling with the camera. It always loads the models in the same spot, rotation, etc., so that's good, but I'd like to see the parameters for the camera (like in Blender) so I can position it without messing around with the mouse. EDIT: D'oh, and just when I post that, I figure it out. EDIT #2: Okay, awesome, that works super well actually. I'll cross off items on the previous page as I get to them. EDIT #3: Just noting something I thought was interesting that I'd never noticed before: Not only is the grip on Barry's gun different, but the barrel and weight are bigger, too. Anyway, making progress. EDIT #4: Progress of icons (green = complete): Weapons- Survival knife (Jill)

So the next thing I have on my mind is recreating the menu elements themselves. Ideally, I'd like to figure out if it's possible to make the menu widescreen, like in Resident Evil 0 HD, but I have no clue where to even begin with that. If that's not possible, that's fine too, but I have no idea how to change the colors of stuff, either. (The menu, sub_status_00_ID_HQ, when opened as a .dds file, is in that weird purple/green transparency format, and while the alpha channel can be edited (that's how I changed things like the font of use/examine/combine, etc.), I don't know what controls their colors.

I found a thread (http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=12528) from back before I guess ARCTool was compatible with REmaster, and they were running into a similar issue with the menus. I've seen some talk about "pixel formats," which seems to have some relation to colors, but if it's a problem with converting the .tex to .dds, I'll have to talk to someone else in the know. As-is, I've looked around in REmaster's program folder and various .arcs to find anything like a texture with the appropriate colors, but came up with nothing, so I have to imagine the data is somehow there in sub_status_00_ID_HQ.tex, I just can't figure out how to edit it or view it in Photoshop.
