Added a surprise to the end We now have a section for DMC4 SE mods, expect DD to be added in this new section once it is released

Wizard Just made an adjustment. What do you think of the newest layout? I decided to list all the games in reverse chronological order. I was just about to suggest that, I think it fits much better, just my opinion on it.

OK, went back to the layout we had yesterday but with some changes added.
I added a "Other MT Framework Games" section and added DMC4:SE to it. I also added Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, RE0 and RE2 to there relevant sections but only in "pre-release format"
pre-release format = Area to discuss mods you would like to see in the game once it is released and Tools section so the first tools can be instantly uploaded as soon as they become available.

No place for Operation Racoon City? I would need to discuss this with Wizard We tried that once, Wizard even eventually made a entire site for it, the game simply did not have much interest in the modding scene, Wizard may have changed his stance on it by now but last I checked there was no desire to return it and to be frank I kinda agree with that notion.

The forum is still heavily clustered so I don't think these changes are for the better. There are simply too much sub-forums for each section- and even that has sub-forums. Some of the games are simply not popular enough to justify the extreme amount of forums
The DMC and DD games that just got their own forums simply don't belong here nor will these forums see enough traffic to justify their existence.
Let me write down how I think each game forum should go:
Resident Evil (title)
1)Downloadable Modifications:
- Character Modifications - Weapon Modifications - sound Modifications - other Modifications
2)Work-in-Progress Modifications 3)General Chat (NO subforums!)
Tutorials need a single forum in the board. Each tutorial should highlight which game it is meant for. Same for requests, they are simply not important enough to plague every single section- a single forum for requests, with again, the users delcaring which game it is for, is much cleaner and efficient.
Modding resources and the rest of the things I haven't mentioned are simply not attractive enough to have a sub-forum. The threads in those forums are so rare.
The thought process behind it is that the most popular sections are usually character related. Others are neglected
As for the way the series is divided. I would seperate the "Main Series" from the "Spin-off Series", "classics" are still a part of the main series and should definitely belong there. As for how the "remade" games are titled.. "Remake" "remaster" etc looks a bit silly with the use of all the "re-" just state the fact they are remakes in the descriptions (I wouldn't mention the word "remaster" because it is obvious that if you're playing it on PC it isn't the GC version, it's inconsistent)

In regards to this part, we will see how modding goes for DD and DMC4SE and they will only stay if the sections have enough traffic to warrant them staying. They are there as a test and will only stay if they are popular.

I see. What about the rest of my wall of text? I literally need to scroll down on my phone to read the whole thing.
