I wanna ask you the same question actually, lol. When was he licking boots or showing himself to be overconfident again? Since when is trying to save someone equals licking boots? haha damn...that demon piers got you too  The only good idea he had was to scort sherry and jake and no one listened to him ( figures XD )
He behaves like an ass with finn, then he disrespects chris in every oportunity he had, (he had to, since chris was kind of an idiot too, i give him that much), he hides the C-virus from chris (if his intentions were good he should have told his captain about it)
I invite you to re play the game to see what I saw  and please do not treat him like a martyr or a hero, because if that is the case then ALL the BSAA soilders should have be taken into consideration not only piers.
1. Behaves like ass with Finn Oh really? All he did was him saying "suck it up soldier" when finn started crying. And he didn't say that with rage or anything. He just did what he was supposed to - keeping soldiers disciplined while in battle conditions, which is exactly what he is supposed to do as Second-in-command. 2.Disrespects Chris. All he did was talking some sense into him, which was in fact needed, since Chris was so blinded by rage, that he was ready to sacrifice his team's life, which REALLY goes in contrast with what he said in chapter 2 - "I know all of you are ready to give your life for our cause, but I'm here to make sure it doesn't happen". 3.He has hidden C-virus. NNNOOPE, pretty sure Chris know that he acquaired the virus shot, just like, well, HE WAS SUPPOSED TO XD 4. Do not treat him like a hero blah blah all the bsaa are hereos then blah. Let's not forget we are talking about VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS here. The fact that I'm gonna care about a character who was given much more screen time and development more then for 3rd rate chars who shortly appear and die in a matter of game hours is pretty goddamn self explanatory. I don't think I'll be needing to replay that.

D8 (He also seems to have gone from a bootlicker to disrespectful.......) Personally I feel bad for all the characters that died in RE6, the civillans, the bsaa members, Piers............not so much Carla.

Well, for Piers, i just don't like his behavior ... i dunno, they seemed to want Chris to be the revenge raging guy, but at any provocation from Jake, Piers goes berserk <.< imagine you give this guy a gun and tell him to walk around in the streets ... lolwut, he's a soldier ? i bet that's not what they were taught to do xD

They feel like chaarcters that were tacked on for obligatory co-op. Leon (maaaaaaaybe Chris) could have had Claire. Jake could have been a revieved Steve (which Wesker hinted at at the end of Code Veronica X) with no memory of before or something. Chris could have had Carlos or Billy or anyone else. Piers, Helena and Jake feel like such unnecessary characters. I think a revived Steve would have worked better than this new magic son of Wesker that just popped up all of a sudden yet the government and everybody who is everyone knows who he is and where.........Steve imo would work because of the T-Veronica virus being in his body making him immune to the C-Virus (which was made using T-Veronica as the base). Chris might have mentioned Steve in some report which could explain why the government, Carla etc would know about him. I'm getting more and more annoyed at Capcom for throwing away already established characters in favour of these one time only character appearances. Why can't we see Billy or Carlos or Steve or Rebecca or Barry. I don't give two flying f*cks about some Helena b*tch and Piers whatever.......Sorry for going off on a rant there but I needed that  I agree with you on Leon too, I think the reason I don't like him is because they made him the 'pretty boy' of the series.

Here is my options Resident Evil: 0 -Favourite Character: Rebecca -Least Favourite Character: William birkin Resident Evil: Remake -Favourite Character: Jill -Least Favourite Character: Wesker Resident Evil: 2 -Favourite Character: Sherry my Sherry -Least Favourite Character: Leon (he's boring to hell) Resident Evil 3: Nemesis -Favourite Character: Jill -Least Favourite Character: Carlos (not the most hated character I don't like but In RE3) Resident Evil: Code Veronica X -Favourite Character: Claire (because she saved sherry) -Least Favorite Character: Wesker (why does he have them stupid glasses) Resident Evil: 4 -Favourite Character: Ashley ( she maybe annoying but I like her) -Least Favourite Character: wesker (them bloody glasses) Resident Evil: Revelations -Favourite Character: Jill -Least Favourite Character: Jessica (bitch!!!) Resident Evil: 5 (Plus DLCs) -Favourite Character: Excella (omg most fashionable character in resident evil till 2008) -Least Favourite Character: Josh (he is a shame to my name he is so damn annoying ) Resident Evil: 6 -Favourite Character: Sherry (damn girl you my main girl !) -Least Favourite Character: Piers (he maybe hot but a waste of time not even a touch on Chris's crouch not one :>) Overall Favorites -Favorite Characters: Sherry, Ashley , Claire , Chris , Jill -Favorite Game: Resident Evil: zero , 3 , 5 , 6 My biggest peeve in the series are character like Sheva (which includes Jakes, Piers and Helena). They feel like chaarcters that were tacked on for obligatory co-op. Leon (maaaaaaaybe Chris) could have had Claire. Jake could have been a revieved Steve (which Wesker hinted at at the end of Code Veronica X) with no memory of before or something. Chris could have had Carlos or Billy or anyone else. Piers, Helena and Jake feel like such unnecessary characters. I think a revived Steve would have worked better than this new magic son of Wesker that just popped up all of a sudden yet the government and everybody who is everyone knows who he is and where.........Steve imo would work because of the T-Veronica virus being in his body making him immune to the C-Virus (which was made using T-Veronica as the base). Chris might have mentioned Steve in some report which could explain why the government, Carla etc would know about him. I'm getting more and more annoyed at Capcom for throwing away already established characters in favour of these one time only character appearances. Why can't we see Billy or Carlos or Steve or Rebecca or Barry. I don't give two flying f*cks about some Helena b*tch and Piers whatever.......Sorry for going off on a rant there but I needed that I agree with you on Leon too, I think the reason I don't like him is because they made him the 'pretty boy' of the series. That is what I'm saying why keep making more characters like Helena jake and piers for Chris we have Jill for sherry we have claire for Leon we have Ashley (I'm sure Ashley said she wanted to join an agency it's been a while since I fully played re4) capcom are going down hill alot what we need right now it love people for who they are and where they come from I don't know Ada's story but she looks Chinese we have josh and Sheva the first time I seen RE5 had different skinned characters I fell in love with them but from my point of view I would like either a lesbian character/ couple or a gay character/ couple like Chris and piers fans wanted them to be gay why not I say lol
