The instructions are simple enough, if any of the files did not rename (disable) try to do it manually by finding the file and activating the one you need. Make sure you have most of the fixes installed aswell
The inventory fix is non-leon related and since leon already can pick up most of the other odd weapons but they act as regular ones (retaining the stats) there's no need for that one. Just got done re-doing everything and everything is working! Thanks so much for the help! im not sure if you have lots of hard drive space, but what i like to do once I get all my mods installed after a clean install is to make a backup copy of the entire BIO4 folder. That way when things go sideways I simply copy that over and all the mods are already installed. I actually have several entire backups, including a clean BIO4 with all original files. Glad this worked out for you.

First off, this mod looks amazing! Great work on it all around! The problem is, though, that I can't seem to get it to work. I extracted all the files to the folders that were specified in the readme, and put the bats in the BIO4 folder. When I use Activate Mod, it says the following for every item: A duplicate file name exists, or the file
cannot be foundThis also happens with the inactivate bat The voice mod works just fine, but anything related to changing Leon's model in the main game doesn't show up. The delete bat also works just fine for everything, so it's not like every bat is having a problem. I have re-copied the files into the game files properly and ran the activate bat, but this error still happens. Again, this mod looks absolutely stellar, but I'm really at a loss on how to get it working on my end.  Thank you in advance for any help you can give!

I added bat files to help users rename 160 files. But if they don't work you can also do it manually. In order to activate mod, you need to inactivate original game files with extension lfs. My mod files do not have the extension. You can choose any way to inactivate original game files. Rename, move to other folder named such as backup. If my bat do not work on your windows, I recommend you to use free rename tools found on the internet.

helpmeplzzzzDid you try this ? Right click the bat file and select "Run as administrator". This may work.

I tried the methods you talked about, but nothing worked. In fact, renaming files manually seems to be impossible, since it looks like it already did the rename for several of the files, but then there's also a second file with .lfs that didn't get renamed, along with the file from the mod. Deleting this extra lfs makes the game refuse to load past New Game.
Is this something Steam put in to disable mods like these? Or is this some kind of compatability issue with Windows 10? Either way, it looks like I won't be able to use this...
I do have the old PC DVD version of the game, buggy as it is, so I can still throw mods into that. It feels like Capcom might have gone the extra mile to make modding for the UHD version a serious pain somehow.
EDIT: actually, maybe I deleted the wrong files? Are the ones with .bak supposed to be renamed to just .lfs? I ran the activate bat again and it said "specified file could not be found" for what I assume were the .lfs files I deleted in the Em folder...Oh man, I feel really incompetent right now...

Hi! Its me again! I got a new PC and now RE4 can run smoothly, problem is I can no longer get this mod to work, all I get is a black screen once I start up the game, I did the exact same thing as I did last time and followed the instructions, so I don't know what the issue is now.

Also, I cannot seem to get this mod to work at all now. the flies are all messed up once more and it looks like I'll have to re-install the entire game again...I just wish I wasn't an idiot.

try now Unfortunately it is impossible to fix that glitch.  Does it bring game crash ? I have never seen the crash with the glitch. It happens with Handgun only. Use other weapons if you have to shoot something located at a high place.

and also i don't know why when it happen that the game will crash for example when opening inventory or enter a new area, or pick up some journal
i dont know how they're related but after several tests it become clear
