I wanted to know people's scariest games because I've played all the scariest game that I've have, but the scary games becoming boring for me. Well...
I'll give you mines:
1. Outlast.
2. Five Nights At Freddy's 1+2+3+4 (I wouldn't say it was scary it just builds up tension.)
3. Slender: The Arrivals.
4. Silent Hill P.T - Never played it but saw some videos on youtube.
So what's your scariest game you've played?

Note: My problem with scary games is that I grow weary of that "scare factor". Sometimes too soon, sometimes later in the game. I can't say that I played any game that kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time.

Alien Isolation is the scariest game in recent years for me, but now I think I've become desensitized from it, due to playing it so much.  Games that scared me in the past included: RE2 (When I was a wee lad, now I find it fun but corny) Fatal Frame 2 (Had recurring dreams of those damned ghosts during my teens) RE Remake was tense but not really scary for me. Anyway that's my 2 cents.

Here are mine. 1.RE : CV (the music man! i played it when i was a kid,so yeah) 2.RE4 (well those regenerators scared the shit out of me when i was 7 lol) Thats it.

Haha, I'm in my 20s and have been playing CVX my first time and some of that music really unsettled me too.  Like this one: I didn't like Alan Wake as a game or find most of it scary, but I will say the most I've ever been freaked out/on edge in a game has been in segments of Alan Wake. The ambiance is that good. Some of the (many) forest segments where I really did feel completely alone and vulnerable or those times I'd go into an empty house and hear footsteps upstairs and frantically look around only for nothing to jump out at me... I definitely couldn't relax for parts of that game.

I never played RE2, the first RE game I've played is RE3, nemesis always scare me back then, I was been forced to play that game, I never used a controller, the keyboard was kinda hard to play those games but I got used to... I got scared whenever nemesis says "S.T.A.R.S" then "EVIL LAUGH". I've used cheat engine now days to play the game 2x the game speed, it's kind of annoying and funny. How is it annoying? Nemesis grabs Jill, which makes the player have less chance of escaping on 2x game speed. How is it funny? LOL, you're not the only one that got scared by regenerators, I remember the first time I played RE4, I was in the area surrounded by cells, I ran forward to climb up to reach the door, and there that regenerator, scared the F out of me... I still like play RE: CV, I have to play on X360, but 30FPS kills me, I just wished that CAPCOM makes it on steam, the music is cool too, but I have a different opinion, that the RE3 music is better (Safe rooms).

^ Dody1555Last warning, do not double post. If you have something else to add please edit your previous post instead. I wouldn't call any games I have played scary. But I guess that is just how things are when games like RE1 didn't come out until I was an adult and I was already de-sensitized to violence by watching horror movies.

Silent Hill 1 is the scariest game for me, personally. I played it when I was a kid and I had nightmares about it, and even today I can hardly play it without muting that insanely sick background music that drills every last nerve in your body.

Mine's: All Resident Evil Series (Man, I Was Killed by the Chainsaw Magini "or whatever his name" 50 times when i was at the oil field in RE5) House of The Dead Series (It's in Horrible Shape but completed 'em when i was have 10) "The Last Mission in HoTD 1 was scared the shit out of me so much when i was a kid) Chainsaw Majini always gets on my nerves whenever he wakes up again, it's like he got so much energy/hyper about something that he spins around with the chainsaw. Oh and The Evil Within was OK for horror game.

Well, he certainly didn't look in the mirror unless he was trying to but suddenly it broke. Anyways that FAT B******* always find me in lockers, even though he doesn't know where am I, but he checks the locker that I'm in. Seriously I'm glad Billy killed him, annoying shit...
