already looked at it earlier didnt help but thank you Johnny  Ah, look Josh You got RE6 working but the game takes 15 minutes to load ? Fear Not !(maybe  ) I had EXACTLY the same problem as you, Game took around 10-15 minutes to boot up So, what worked for me to fix this problem was that I upgraded my GPU drivers to the latest version And Voila ! Game now boots up for me instantly ! And this has also fixed the problem when you are changing the graphical settings and the game takes ETERNITY to change it(well,lol, maybe not eternity, but 15 minutes) Do what I say, and you will most probably end up thanking me for solving your problem ! Good Luck RE_Sherry ! Oh right thank you but I don't think my drivers need updating I got the laptop at christmas ?? Hmm I'll try it though thanks maxman

You would be surprised just how often laptop ship with out-of-date drivers.

I received new Nvidia drivers only a few days ago.
So if it uses an Nvidia GPU your drivers are most likely out-of-date.
When you are a gamer you should always keep your drivers current, updates can often solve a LOT of issues in games and even framerate improvements.

res evil6 does seem to require more power to run.
I suppose if u have an older computer (like me) ,you are going to need to upgrade as more and more next gen games are released.
in the past ,if a game was released that wasn't optimized very well,your computer could cope.
