This is really amazing and it truly adds some new life in to this game. Me and my friend are having a lot of fun with this. Only thing is I would truly appreciate If someone could explain how to use mod managers server properly? Or tell me where to look info for it. In other words what do you need to change in config.cfg as the host and as the people that try to connect to you? How do you set it up properly? You need to designate someone as a host (it should be someone who can forward ports on their router). After that, the host and client follows a different set of steps: Host: - Forward port 9950 on their router. - Figure out what their IP is ( www.whatismyip.com/). - Start the mod manager and click on "Start network server" Client(s): - Get IP from host, and input it into config.cfg (edit this line: "network_ip: 127.0.0.1") - Start the mod manager and click on "Join network server" That's all which is necessary to do. Optionally, you can edit "player_name: Playername" in the config if you want each user to have a unique name when looking in the network user list, but that's not necessary. Keep in mind the trainer functionality is a bit experimental, so if you do something you think might break something and cause the game to crash, that is a possibility. And many of the pokes work in different ways. Most are synced between players in the mod manager (if they're connected to eachother), but a few aren't as there's no point to it (like the 6 player no mercy host poke).

FluffyQuack, I'm playing both RE6 and REV atm and I noticed that Mod Manager doesn't save modman_default_game parameter. How to reproduce the bug: 1) Set modman_default_game to re6 2) Start Mod Manager 3) Menu -> Choose Game -> Revelations 4) Install/uninstall mods, etc, do whatever you need to do, close mod manager 5) Start mod manager again - the game will be RE6, not revelations
Can you fix it in next version please?

All my mods are Fluffy Manager friendly now. New screenshots, mod info and file structure. Re-download them and enjoy. FluffyQuack You should post in News on main page about your mod, and moders would add their supported mod alongside. What do you think about it? SonicSonedit Where did your Lineage 2 elf avatar go? I used to play it with Elf Templar.

New version released: www.tzarsectus.com/tools/modmanager.rarv1-55: - Fixed "seconds elapsed" stat in player stats. - Added an option to save a text file with player stats info (useful for keeping stats from a mercenaries run). - Some minor menu behaviour improvements. - Currently selected game now gets saved as default game in config. - Added basic mod manager support for RE4 (the new Ultimate HD Edition release, not the old PC release).

For some reason, I've been having a load of issues getting to this work. At one point, I had it working, but now I get tons of errors whenever I try to use it to install any mod.
So, I've deleted RE6 and reinstalled it several times trying to figure out what is going on and I have no clue.
When I try to install a mod, the manager gives me this:
Error: CopyFile failed with: RE6\mods\Input Text Removal\nativePC\arc\DX9\Msg_eng.arc to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 6\nativePC\arc\DX9\Msg_eng.arc
Installed mod: Input Text Removal
The game won't run because it can't open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 6\nativePC\arc\DX9\Msg_eng.arc 5
I've followed the instructions in the read me exactly how it's written. Other mods give me the same error, except for every file the mod contains. If I don't install the Input Text Removal and try to run the game with a character mod, I can get to the point where I start to play Mercs, then the game crashes saying it can't open some .tex file.
I'm getting incredibly frustrated by this, considering I had it working in the past. Anyone able to offer some advice as to why this is happening?

Are you running the game while installing the mod? Are you running mod manager as administrator? I also don't know if there's any settings in Windows where it would try to "protect" program files from being modified. It's especially weird since you say it's worked in the past. I don't know how many functions I'll add, but I'll add some stuff at least. Character select isn't added yet, but I will be adding that. Edit: Added character select.

Hm. Well, I've figured out that the problem is that I'm unable to replace files in the Steam folder. I tried manually placing in the Input Text Removal into the RE6 directory and it only gives me the option to rename the new file. I'm really confused now why this is happening.
EDIT: Well, manual installation of mods works, and all the other functions of the manager work so things have pretty much sorted themselves out.

Having the same problem, the mod manager doesn't work for me at all anymore, it's basic functions are there but I can't install any mods what so ever. I've figured out the problem lies in the SteamApps folder where Resident Evil 6 is and the files aren't copying to the correct folders, and I don't mean they're going to another folder, they're not going to any folder and I don't want to manually install them. I tried deleting and re-installing the mod manager and also uninstalling Resident Evil 6 and re-installing it and nothing is working...

Do you know when this started happening? After a certain update to the mod manager? After a certain update to steam? Or just started happening randomly?
Edit: I figured out what the bug is. It started happening after the last update to the mod manager. I'll get a new version released ASAP.

Everything works fine with the v1.53 version so it must be v1.55 as there are no complains about v1.54.
I did uninstall all mods with the v1.53 and install them back with the v1.55 (not sure if thats the right way to do it, but thats how I do it) After that the game crashed with some kind of missing files error, so I uninstalled all mods but it still kept crashing so I went to verify integrity of game cache on my Steam and it showed me that 450 files needs to be re-downloaded.
So not sure what is the problem, but Im sticking with the v1.53 for now.
I hope this info somehow can help you to understand what is wrong and if it is wrong at first place. And dont get me wrong no complaints here just a heads up of whats happening:)

New version released: www.tzarsectus.com/tools/modmanager.rarv1-56: (2014-03-02) - Fixed major bug with installing mods. Sorry! - Added basic trainer support for RE4 HD. The trainer pokes lets you change money count, toggle infinite ammo, change character/outfit, change player opacity and change player speed. - The code does not currently check for RE4 game version, so once Capcom patches the game, the trainer functions will stop working. The bug happened because I fixed a bug with the code which creates directories, and in turn I accidentally added a new major bug. It would try to make directories using the filenames of mods. And then copying over the file itself would fail because there was a directory with the same name, which causes a conflict. If people are still having the error with this new version, you'll have to remove the faulty directories created by the previous version. You could manually go inside the RE6 directory and spot any weird directories and delete them. Or uninstall the game (make sure you also have all mods uninstalled in mod manager), manually delete game directory ([...]\steam\steamapps\common\resident evil 6\) and then reinstall the game. That would definitely fix it. So yeah, sorry about that. I should have tested the version more before releasing it.
