How long do you plain to wait for capcom to do something? I'm pretty doubtful they'll fix anything meaningful I just hope Capcom will fix the gamma and the missing light effects that are present in the xbox360. The modders will fix the rest

LoL the Wii version, I played that for like i dont know, 30 - 40 minutes maybe before i gave up, the Wii version looks absolute HORRID (+ it had FPS drops) on a big screen TV, all games look HORRID in 480p on Wii xD I gave away my Wii console and the games i had for it to my brother. I like the 360 controller ALOT better then the Wii controllers, yes i play RE 4 UHD with my 360 controller(s) I dont have a 360 anymore, good riddance! LoL but the controllers are nice. But we all like different things, anyway RE 4 is an awesome game, but the PC version is by far the best one Wii is best, you need to use a standard controller and play it through Dolphin to understand. With Dolphin you can play the game with an internal rendering resolution of 2560x2112. When you do this and run it on a 1080p screen it suddenly looks better then any other release of the game to ever come out... Even on Wii version you can use the NGC controller and it plays better to the Wiimote imo. Honestly I think with the combo of Capcoms patching and Martins find the new PC version just MAY become the superior build. With mods after that I can only imagine how far it could go. Both crisdecuba and Albert have really opened my eyes to just how nice this version just may end up looking one day. I know about Dolphin and have used it before, even played RE 4 Wii in Dolphin, that Emulator is by no means optimized and draws ALOT of raw CPU power, it is also byggy as hell, alot of games dosent even work in Dolphin and there are bugs like: graphical glitches, audio, crashes, low FPS etc. , i dont even think EMULATED GAMES count. Dont like that Emu....the only thing a like about Dolphin is the 2560x2112 res, THAT IS a sweet feature anyway been there done that. Yeah it might not be the ULTIMATE version so far but it's still the best in my opinion (RE 4 UHD) and with mods when we have the tools it will be a Beast game DarkSamus! btw, is there any progress DarkSamus on any tool(s) for the RE 4 UHD?

I still love my Wii versión more... (because of gameplay)
someone noticed Ada´s dress lack of movement?.. even PS2 had better movement than Wii...and they keep Wii versión of it
I´ll wait untill modds can be made, then maybe I´ll change my mind LoL the Wii version, I played that for like i dont know, 30 - 40 minutes maybe before i gave up, the Wii version looks absolute HORRID (+ it had FPS drops) on a big screen TV, all games look HORRID in 480p on Wii xD I gave away my Wii console and the games i had for it to my brother. But we all like different things, anyway RE 4 is an awesome game, but the PC version is by far the best one lol For HORRID you must play PS2 versión...(but PS2 versión has better movement for adas dress Y__Y) thats HORRID. I have a 42" TV and I don´t see the fatality so...
About controllers I think you have to adapt to the controllers, I can pay All RE games smootly with Wii controllers, Clasic Controllers, 360 contrlollers, Ps1, 2 or 3 controllers, Mouse and keyboard... if its hard for some people its not the games fult,
Like I said my favourite versión its the wii one because of that and the PC versión its not...TOO many damn bugs and flaws to be named "Ultimate HD" and maybe I´ll change my mind once the update and mods came. for now I finished the entire game and I uninstalled for now.

I've unlocked all the secret weapons and costumes.
Nice to have my new save that's is pretty much a copy of my save from the old PC version. (except for the money I earned in the past 5 or so years)
Just gotta get all the bottlecaps now.

Hey guys, I think I've found out an interesting thing on specular/bump maps in RE4 HD. For some reason they were turned off even through it seems the game actually supports those, but they were not turned off completely. There is at least one item in current RE4 HD build that has bump maps working on it even with no modifications whatsoever. I don't have screenshots with me, but you guys can check it out yourselves. It is Salazar Family Insignia that you have to get and use while playing as Ashley in her castle segment. Examine this item after obtaining it and you'll see bump maps are actually there working perfectly.

Hey everybody, I just thought I would share something I found. I was able to use uMod r49, to successfully inject and extract textures from RE4 HD. To do this, I just used the third method of injection from uMod's README.txt, where you copy the d3d9.dll from the uMod folder, and paste it where bio4.exe is located. However, there were major issues. Upon putting the d3d9.dll, that uMod uses, where bio4.exe is located, the game becomes unplayable. What happened to me, was, that the games framerate was halved and I started having frequent Crashes to Desktop. Still, it was cool to see modded textures in the real-time cutscenes, so I decided to take a screenshot. Textures used: Jacket/Shirt/Pants – Albert's Textures Hair – Viper Snake's Texture Face/Eyes – Never finished Textures I had made Original Textures:Modded Textures:I also took a screenshot of the textures I extracted that revealed something, that, at the time, I did not expect. Extracted Textures:So, as Martins already discovered, the game does in fact load the exact same specular/bump textures used in the GC/Wii version. This makes me wonder, if in the future, we would be able to add specular/bump textures to everything, or if it will just be limited to the original GC/Wii textures that already have specular/bump textures. Time will tell I suppose, either way, I'm just glad it will be possible to have these effects in the game. Anyway, seeing as .lfs can now be decompressed, it's only a matter of time before textures can be put directly into the game. So, there really isn't much use for using uMod to do this, especially since it makes the game (at least for me) very unstable, but who knows, maybe someone out there will find a use for it.
