The first merchant's blue light (chapter 1-2) doesn't reflect any blue light on the contiguous wall. It's a bug ported directly from the PS3/360 versions which lacked of that light too. Hope that light and other minor things could be fixed via modding

Yes, the lighting bug has been fixed before release. Pay more attention, the lights were not fixed, they removed all HDR lighting effects, this is ridiculous, even the old 2007 version and the xbox version had these effects.

albert: if the bug was present in the xbox360/ps3 versions and never fixed, I highly doubt they will fix that now... luckily it's really a minor issue.

Martins: if the previous hd versions had these effects, just make sure to write a notification in the relative topic on steam forums, the crapcom staff is listening for bugs.

I have done a custom key to be closest as possible to the GC config.
Credits for DarkSamus & BabaBlackSheep for doing this ! I just edited some other bindings.
Open the input.ini from the game folder.
Default path -> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Resident Evil 4\BIO4
The tweak below will do the following:
1. Shoot with A instead of X 2. Access inventory with Y instead of START 3. Access options with START instead of BACK 4. Access map with BACK instead of Y 5. Skip Cutscenes with START instead of BACK 6. Ashley commands with B instead of RB 7. Move trough Inventory Menu Tabs with LT & RT instead of LB & RB
KNOWN ISSUE:
1. QTE OPTION FOR X IS A. SO WHENEVER A QUICK TIME EVENT TELLS YOU TO PRESS X, PRESS A!
Here's how I managed to do it.
Open the input.ini file and then Locate the ###XINPUT_CONTROLLER_A section and paste (or replace) the following:

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered already, but are there any known methods for editing the textures in the game yet? I'm itching to port over my work.

can you make something similar to this but for a Generic USB Controller instead? it's frustrating that it uses the right analog for aiming, i'm more familiar with the ps2 and gamecube versions.. please??

Yo Albert, I'm about 80% through my first run and all i could think everywhere i went was man we need Albert's doors lol. the game looks really good but it would be great if you could fix some walls floors and doors. i like your barrels and boxes way better to. my favorite doors of yours are in the castle and they appear to be gates, they are beautiful man.
