Re5 can be played using keyb+mouse with no problems. The same cannot be said of re4, even now with claimed proper keyb+mouse support unluckily.

No slow motion gameplay happening here. I'm uploading some video of the game to Youtube right now. Will post the video here as soon as it's finished uploading.

Just found a profile with this XD UPDATE!! found one from November too Guessing these are beta testers? Don't think so. Remember Star Trek the movie THE GAME and what NAMCO did? They probably did the same thing. Some people from CAPCOM probably played unfinished game to get the ratings...

I'll try to capture better footage at a later time. The current result is a little blurry.

Are you using a controler, DarkSamus? Edit: There's no need to respond, I just read the other posts.

OK, here are my thoughts after playing up to (but not including) the fight with the first El-Gigante.
I have noticed an issue with fps even with my specs. It seems to occur only sometimes when switching back to gameplay after being in menu's. Everything in the game will move in slow motion for about 2 seconds and then return to normal.
I did end up trying to use the mouse for an enemy and it was almost impossible to aim with the screen just stuttering in the same spot and not scrolling at all. You also can't change to much in the controller configuration screen.
Because I have mostly only played the old PC port I am seeing a lot of nice touches you don't get with the old build. The Del Lago battle in particular looks so much better with the spears you hit it with staying for the entire fight. (in the old build and PS2 the spears disappear on contact) Running through the lightly flooded areas you can see the water flow around Leon's feet and hear the swooshing noise beautifully.
Audio is FAR better with the audio of running on metal roofs in particular sounding just like the real deal.
Modding potential is far greater as well. I am really excited to see how good the mods for this will look due to it being based on the GC version. You can seriously tell this is a closer port of the GCN/Wii version.
I do like the look of the game and it is VERY smooth at 60fps and in all honestly do feel Capcom deserve $20 for what some are calling merely a patch. This is gonna mod incredibly well (when/if we can get the tools) and once it is we are gonna have one helluva lot of fun with this game.
I rate the port a 9/10
Only down points are for the missing GCN/Wii effects and I feel Capcom were lazy by not making more of the textures higher resolution.
Otherwise, I am loving it and my hat goes off to Capcom for giving us the build we should have got first time around.

Hey! It's nice to read that ^^, I just read complaining and more complaining in the Steam forums, that's kinda depressing. Yeah, I think those complaints are just the 10% of the people who played the game.
