Hi and let me start with the problem in general. So, i installed RE4 on my PC some years ago and it was running smoothly and still is, but recently i bought new PC and why shouldnt it run on it? and here is the problem - im always
getting an error - it always closes and says it has some sort of problem and without noted details which confuses me. and about RE4 original the d3dx9_30.dll is missing and cant even run it even with fixing the dll so can someone
help me please? Dont know from where to start at all....
In short i got 2 pcs now so when i plug the old one it runs smoothly, but on my new one it doesnt.
Would be thankful for any feedback...
Cheers! frost1

Do you have newest DirectX installed? And, do run it in compatibility mode/administrator?

Maybe because your graphic card has a 64bit memory band. If this is the problem, that's nothing you can do, only set up the game in low quality.

I have gtx 75ti, i7 4970 4GHz, 8GB ddr3 1600mhz Ram, and I'm running this with 1080p, HD quality, high shadow quality, motion blur on, 60fps... i don't know whats wrong, unless a background process is slowing it down.

Give us your PC specs from OS, CPU, GFX, RAM, DirectX, Screen Resolution, and PSU. Then, we can know what's the problem.

@shiroyashi Nagateru Ok i will try but cant promise... @leonlovesada1515 not related to any "set-up" in game cause ive tried anything. DarkSamus tried to run it at fps merging from 20 to 60 and the speed is same (everything else runs as it should) as i stated above on my old pc which has only 300mb video card it runs faster on lower fps but on this one nothing happens at all (no changes) Anyways i will give you details about my PC when i get back from work. i think these are the most important things i should note.
P.S maybe i didnt put a thick somewhere... cause ive tried everything.

Ok, now I'm curious that... perhaps you should install DirectX 12, and I wonder if GDDR5 Video Card is compatible not with DDR3 RAM but I think those 2 are match because all the RAMs is only available in DDR3. Updating your Video Card might help much in your problem. Be sure, AMD Processor and NVIDIA Video Card. AMD and NVIDIA are rivals, so I suggest you to find an Intel Processor instead to find a new AMD Video Card.
Here's your To-Do list :
IMPORTANT !! :
- Check between of your Processor and Video Card if they are match or not. + Find a new Processor based from Intel.
Optional :
- What's your DirectX version ? + Install a DirectX12.
- 8 GB DDR3 RAM ? + That's more than enough.
- PSU [Power Supply Unit] ? + Check it, minimum requirement is 400W PSU. + Highly recommend to grab a 600W PSU.
- OS [Windows Version] ? + Windows 7 is only beautiful in its interface. + Windows 8 is only beautiful on its performance.
- Too Much Process ? + Use Task Manager + Install AntiFreez
- Resolution ? + 1366 x 768 is enough for gaming. + Lowering resolution might increase fps.
That's all I can said for today.

If you did those all. I hate to say this but it might be your AMD processor and Nvidia video card are not match to each other.
