A quick rundown of this project.. for those that have seen my other hook, this project is just like REHDHook which can be found here: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/3269/rehdhook-direct3d-hook-plugins-addonsA user approached me and asked if I could do a similar hook for RE6 and offered to buy the game for me. I agreed that I could make the hook if I had the game which he promptly donated a key to me. So here is the new RE6Hook project born. This is in early alpha currently but everything is working already just like the REHDHook. I had to rewrite a few parts of the hook for working with this game specifically, such as the keyboard input method that the game uses. So there may be new bugs in the code etc. But most of the code is reused from my REHDHook project. I am looking for suggestions, questions, feedback, etc. before I make a beta release of this project.

Great work, I can't wait to see where this goes. Given that I have little time to focus on this and pretty much no interest in this game I'm hoping others pickup on making things for it via the addons and plugins interfaces I have built into the project. The healthbar addon I wrote is a fair example showing how to create and work with the font objects as well as interact with the games memory. I plan to work on a few other addons since it was requested from the beginning for me when I worked on this, but in the long run I do not see myself working on the base code much more then what it already is unless people heavily show interest and request things. Looking for any type of feedback with what info I've posted, questions, comments, etc. are all welcome.

PluginsHere is a current list of plugins I have made for RE6Hook and what they do. AddonsAddons is a plugin that exposes Lua to RE6Hook allowing users to create mini-plugins, called Addons, within Lua. Each addon is loaded into their own Lua state preventing conflicts between multiple addons. Each addon also has [nearly] full access to the REHookCore objects. You can use the following commands to interact with the plugin: EffectsEffects is a plugin that enables post-process AA effects (via shaders) to the game. Effects uses a modified version of the SweetFX source code. You can use the following commands to interact with the plugin: ScreenshotScreenshot is a simple plugin that enables you to take screenshots in-game. Here is an example of the effects plugin in action. (Note: I have all of the games graphics settings maxed in both images.) Turned off: Turned on: The Effects plugin makes use of an open sourced version of the SweetFX shaders code base. However, the code is old so newer shaders are not compatible with it. There are a handful of shaders included though. The above image has the following enabled with their default settings: - Bloom - HDR - Levels - Lift Gamma Gain - Luma Sharpen - Sepia - Tonemap The following shaders are included and available with my Effects plugin implementation of SweetFX: - AdvancedCRT - Bloom - Border - Cartoon - Curves - Dither - DPX - Explosion - HDR - Levels - Lift Gamma Gain - Luma Sharpen - Monochrome - Sepia - SinCity - Splitscreen - SweetCRT - Technicolor - Tonemap - Vibrance - Vignette

Altered the healthbar addon and renamed it to charmon. Instead, it now looks like the Metal Gear Solid 4 hud and tracks the players combat/stamina bar as well now: (Ignore the anchor at the top of the addon its just for debugging.)
