So, to all of you that are willing to help "port" / transfers the original mod releases from our original host to our new one, please follow these guide lines when posting them over: MOD NAME: TEXT HERE ORIGINAL AUTHOR: TEXT HERE ORIGINAL MOD RELEASE: LINK HERE MOD DESCRIPTIONORIGINAL POST CONTEXTS HERE MOD PREVIEW:IMAGES / VIDEO OF MOD HERE DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD LINKS FOR THE MOD HERE (MAKE SURE THEY AVE ACTIVE!!!) You can use this as an example: residentevilmodding.boards.net/thread/3/leon-cosplays-redfield-model-swap?page=1Any questions or concerns, please post them here. Please be sure, that if you are going to help, to make sure the download links are STILL ACTIVE (You are permitted to re-uploaded if needed), porting over dead mods is not only a waste of time for you, but just clutters up the forums with garbage.

Hello, Sectus here!
I don't mind people if re-post any of my model mods, stage mods or tutorials threads, but I don't want anyone to repost my tool releases. I want to maintain those threads myself so I can update the first post with any new features added, and also make sure the download link is always up to date.
And to Wizard specifically, I think it would be a good idea to directly contact modders to ask them how they think this should be handled. I don't think every modder is okay with other people re-posting their mods. If a modder is no longer active (not posted or visited in many many months) I would say it's fair game, but if a modder is currently active, he should have a say in how this transition is handled.

I think this is a good idea ^^^ I was actually thinking the same thing once a situation came up here where a (active) modder did not like how someone moved their thread. If the modder is sill active I think its a good idea to either wait for them to do it theirself or pm them.

I must say that I agree, and you do raise valid points. I'll delete the one tool release thread I did of yours, and let you post it yourself.

@administrator:
sorry if this is not the correct topic but I want to warn that the link to the new forum situated in the main page of the discontinued one is wrong, link content is "http://127.0.0.1/'http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/'" when it should redirect you to this: "http://residentevilmodding.boards.net". I suggest you to fix that.

You should know better than that, especially just to fix a typo that doesn't really even matter. Stop making non-sense posts or I will have to take action, that is the only warning from me your gonna get

Stop making non-sense posts or I will have to take action, that is the only warning from me your gonna get I'm terribly sorry about that, but threats are kind of hostile don't you think? If I encounter a typo in a original post in the future should I send a PM to the author or just leave it be? Thanks!

Well the thread is a sticky one, it can not be bumped actually since its always at the top of the page.
HOWEVER, you can call this reviving a dead thread that has not had a reply in years just for a spelling mistake?
If you feel the absolute need to correct spelling errors in a thread that has not had reply in months or god forbid YEARS than yes just pm the author or the person who made the mistake and leave it at that.
