I agree that RE5 Rebecca is not much different from Remake. RE5 Rebecca looks more modern, but basically it is same thing, so I do not see much point in Remake model. Considering RE0HD is coming early next year, I feel it'd be better to wait then, but thats just my opinion. Otherwise you could just reskin her and add all those things. or the REHD model thats already released ?

texture quality is better in RE5 (I've looked at both together in Photoshop) now this is from comparing renders and from my own knowledge. I'm not sure where the boots and vest being changed came from to you, but with the vest its just the texture of her rescue logo and her boots just have white on them in remake.  some peope just refuse to see the ovious,
small changes make big differences,
but for others just dont and they see "all the same and no difference"
This pics have my resking on it, BUT NOTHING on the texture was changed.
Ears on HDremake are smotther, face too
Pants a re almost the same but the shirt is kind of like... "dirty" on RE5, logo is ok in both
the vest on HD remake is smoother than RE5, texture looks better?
maybe if you like that kind of "hard" texture on it
If you honestly cant see any difference on the boots then pfff OOKAY
but is not just the white line, THE BOOT is different...But what ever
still I would like to see ThatGayModder™ work on Rebecca

In that case why not just fix the smoothing parts? if its just a thing of lower textures or smoothing thingies, it seems like a simple HD reskin could be used, that sounds like a lot of effort for a remodel if its just quality stuff.

It's just an issue of quality, and what looks like different textures, so again it seems like a waste of time unless you just want to up the quality

Rebecca is here everyone!! This model was very difficult to do. I'm Still very new at model importing so i'm sorry if it isn't amazing. This model has Full facial features.
