That's great ! I was working in replacing the music with the '96 ones, but only managed to replace two of them (first and second floor), because it was really complicated and didn't find an easy way to replace the musics. With your project, it will be a perfect retro combo ! I was planning to do something similar but first I wanted to update some instruments and make 5.1 mixes. Maybe I'll start working on that once I finish the voice acting mod.

That would be great. But if I find the courage, maybe I can finish the task myself. How do you edit the sounds by the way ? (I'm using audacity, but it's not enough for dealing with loops and triggers informations from the game)

I use audacity too and I have no problems editing the loop points.

I find Audacity very similar to MS Paint. Surprisingly more in-depth and useful than you are first lead to believe.

I can hardly wait for this to be finished! (...Yeah) Could you also do the old zombie sounds but separately please?

Where do you find those loop points ? When I paste a music track with more lenght than the one I want to replace, the music only plays one time in the game breaking the loop. That force me to do tedious editing to fit exactly the same lenght at all cost. And to top it all, the loop works in a weird way (it reads the music from the begining the first time and then, from the 9th or 10th second...)

Mr. Bunny To save you the trouble of doing the intro ( unless you want to do a better version ), a member over at NeoGAF has done it and it's not half bad to be honest. Only problem is... He made the iconic ( and best part ) typewriter sound right at the start way too fast.

I think I'll make my own version once I finish in-game cutscenes.

Hey all, sorry to ask an extremely noob question, but how would i go about playing this mod? I am a huge fan of the original voice acting from RE1 and would love to play the new version with the gold that is the classic voice acting. Really appreciate what you're creating!

Damn, Jill is coming too quick in the remake. I loved the long pause in the original game when Enrico answers if he was Enrico, that was funny Good work man, can't wait for your release !
