I wanted to get more of a basis on how this worked and write all my notes that I found for those who were interested in trying this out for themselves. Also get it for those who are unable to get the guide from the original forum.
First you will need to get Sectus' fluffy manager that I provided (it includes wilsonso's ultimate shader package + model swap trainer with updated weapon extract arcs also done by Sectus)
Mod Mananger: drive.google.com/file/d/0B9JxTbrxj5uAbTZzVGwtUWhqdWc/view?pref=2&pli=1
Also after you get the mod manaager, you open the executable and install the mods provided in the mod mananger before going any further.
Patch 1.3 + Weapon Extract Together
Ultimate Shader Package
General Guide (using Sectus methods as a basis)
-------------------------------------------------------
Step 1: After you've gone thru the process of portforwarding (open ports 9950 in your router)
open up your fluffyquack manager 5000 v1.62, go to menu, then start network server.
Step 2: Wait for all other players to join the network and launch Resident Evil 6 thru the mod mananger
Step 3: When you and all other players are at the main menu, in the mod mananger click "Hook Trainer" so everyone is hooked at the same time.
*Quick Note for Hosts*
It doesn't matter who hosts, but each host needs to choose the default main char in each campaign.
EX: Leon campaign -> Host must choose Leon; Chris campaign -> Host must choose Chris; Jake campaign -> Host must choose Jake;etc
Step 4: The player who is hosting needs to choose the campaign of desire and their respective characters. Before beginning a match the host must do the following (this is what worked for me and my testers):
-> Poke -> Scroll down to enable "Host 3p Campaign"
(If Playing Leon's Campaign)
-> Scroll up to Character Pokes -> Click 1p/Leon -> Choose 2p/Helena
(If Playing Chris' Campaign)
-> Scroll up to Character Pokes -> Click 1P/Leon -> Choose 4p/Piers
(If Playing Jake's Campaign)
-> Scroll up to Character Pokes -> Click 1p/Leon -> Choose 5p/Sherry
-> Scroll down and click on Active - Active
-> Now with the game open, Create the room with Partner Join to Allow and Agent Hunt set to Don't Allow
-> In the co-op Lobby, invite whoever you plan to be your partner Character here (Helena, Piers, Sherry)
-> Once they join and the game has successfully loaded, you can start doing the next step
*Quick Note for Playing other campaigns*
As mentioned by Sectus you have to have the players go in the order as they appear in the mod mananger when choosing characters in the pokes.
EX:
If you choose Leon's campaign
Host -> 1P / Leon
Partner -> 2P / Helena (Player 2)
Extra Character 1 -> 3P / Chris (Player 3)
Extra Character 2 -> 4P / Piers (Player 4)
If you choose Chris campaign
Host -> 3P / Chris
Partner -> 4P / Piers (Player 2)
Extra Character 1 -> 5P / Jake (Player 3)
Extra Character 2 -> 6P / Sherry (Player 4)
If you choose Jake campaign
Host -> 5P / Jake
Partner -> 6P / Sherry
Extra Character 1 -> 7P / Ada (Player 3)
Extra Character 2 -> 8P / Agent (Player 4)
--I have yet to test Ada's campaign to see how it works with more than 2P--
Step 5: When both you and your partner are loaded, invite your other players one by one respectively. Make sure they all join before doing anything else. If things work correctly, each player will attempt to join as the partner character, but Join as an Agent in the top right corner. At this point whoever you have as player 2 will be unable to control their partner character. This is fine and what is supposed to happen.
Step 6: When everyone is loaded, have Player 3 and all other players that joined to select their costumes and assume control
Ex:
Leon campaign
-> Have whoever wants to be player 3 to click up to 3P / Chris -> Change Costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 3P Chris
-> Have whoever wants to be player 4 to click up to 4P / Piers -> Change Costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 4P Piers
Chris campaign
-> Have whoever wants to be player 3 to click up to 5p / Jake -> Change costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 5P Jake
-> Have whoever wants to be player 4 to click up to 6p / Sherry -> Change costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 6p Sherry
Jake campaign
-> Have whoever wants to be player 3 to click up to 7p / Ada -> Change costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 7P Ada
-> Have whoever wants to be player 4 to click up to 8p / Agent -> Change costume to the character they want -> Then hit assume control under 8P Agent
Step 7: After all the extra players have assumed control of their characters, finally have the partner character (whichever player you invited to the game first to assume control of their character
EX:
Leon campaign
-> Assume control of 2P / Helena
Chris Campaign
-> Assume control of 4P / Piers
Jake Campaign
-> Assume control of 6p / Sherry
Step 8: Host needs to restart from checkpoint
Step 9: PLAY!
*Extra Notes for players 3P+*
Whenever you get to O Doors, they will not be able to advance with you, so in the mod mananger make sure to have them teleport to the specific player as soon as they move on to the next area. You can also use the "No clip: On" as an alternative (but this can cause weird results sometimes, so I would not do it). Teleporting is also very important when you notice your character is falling thru the floor. If you see this happen, be sure to teleport right away to avoid dying.
EX:
Leon campaign
For Player 3 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 3p / Chris -> Teleport to Player -> To 1P / Leon or 2P / Helena
For Player 4 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 4p / Piers -> Teleport to Player -> To 1p / Leon or 2P / Helena
Chris campaign
For Player 3 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 5p / Jake -> Teleport to Player -> To 3P / Chris or 4P / Piers
For Player 4 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 6p / Sherry -> Teleport to Player -> To 3p / Chris or 4P / Piers
Jake campaign
For Player 3 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 7p / Ada -> Teleport to Player -> To 5P / Jake or 6P / Sherry
For Player 4 -> Poke -> Character Poke -> 8p / Agent -> Teleport to Player -> To 5p / Jake or 6P / Sherry
*Extra Notes for having Mods installed*
If you want to use character mods or swaps that's fine. You don't have to all have them installed, but if you want to have the same stuff installed as your friends, be sure to do the steps provided to see the characters properly. There will be times the characters you swap in will turn into their original models
EX:
Let's say you have Chris Europe model Swapped to Carlos. At a given point if someone dies and you restart, you might see Chris Europe model again. In which case you might have to restart the entire process again to stay in sync.
*Extra Notes for those who Do Cross Sections*
I have yet to find a way to properly run a cross section with the mod. I tried having the extra players assume control of them ahead of time, I also tried loading ai to assume control, but all of it resulted in a infinite load. So to get around this, just have all players do the cross sections normally.
Ex:
Have P1 and P2 use Leon and Helena, and have P3 and P4 use Ada and Agent. Load up Altar Corridor together, and wait to sync normally.
This is all a work in progress, but for the most part it works well and I've been trying to do a full playthrough of the entire campaigns using this guide. Thanks to Sectus and other modders for making this possible.
