This is definitely for hardcore fans who want to own this game on all platforms. This console does the game no justice whatsoever. This version is definitely the death sentence for content updates on REV2, I hope the rumors are true and there will be a second season.

It's not on a all-powerful home console....why do people expect the game to be glorious on every console? any person with some common sense should know it being on the PS Vita means it wont have the greatest graphics lol...

It's a part of the experience, which is redoubtably reduced in this version.

So because its a handheld version of a game it needs to be as exact as the consoles? which its, nowhere near as large as an xbox or playstation...and its optional, they didn't ask for peoples opinions on how the graphics will look or anything, the first revelations had HORRIBLE graphics, but everyone played that regardless

CAPCOM attempted to pitch the re-release as a "remaster", but it still had horrible graphics, as you said. Well my first comment wasn't really about the graphics, but the first reply to it just assumed that it was. If I were to play this game for the first time I wouldn't want it to be the PSVita version, that is all.

If I were to play this game for the first time I wouldn't want it to be the PSVita version, that is all. Fair enough. I think that rather than hardcore fans who want to have it on every platform it caters more to Vita owners who don't have that much decent games on the platform. Anyway it doesn't look that bad. Other than few places with some fancy lightsources I don't think the experience/atmosphere will suffer much from the downgrade. On a sidenote (not related to your comments) I refuse calling Revelations 1 a bad looking game. For what it is (that is a slightly tweaked upscale from 3DS) it looks pretty good, which speaks volumes about the capabilities of the 3DS and the talent of people who made that version. Oh, and the prerendered intro looks helluva lot better than in Revelations 2.

Revelations 1s Graphics on the 3DS were terrible, and that was the first version of it that we got, PS Vita is kinda a throwback to that, depending on how its looked upon I could care less about the graphics, but im just pointing out what most will

Revelations 1s Graphics on the 3DS were terrible (...) Well that would contradict the almost unanimous opinion that at the time of it's release it had one of the best graphics on the platform...

They were otherwise 'horrible' in their case, but for the 3DS at the time they were 'best' the point is Revelations 2 on the VITA isn't a downgrade or anything, people have to realize they cant justy copy paste a console game onto a handheld and poof it has the same exact graphics! there is a downfall I personally would love to get the PS Vita copy, but I sadly cant

UPDATE!!!! the ps vita version is 4 days away and i found some info The game's download is 2.9 GB, plus the Day 1 Patch for PSN features, which is an extra 900 MB, making the total download almost 4 GB (And i bought a 16gb card for this game hahah!) The game plays on the PlayStation TV, but there are no special controls for the extra buttons on the DS3/DS4 The DLC is pre-loaded into the Vita download The game has optional gyroscope controls for aiming and has various settings for gyro sensitivity The front touch screen is used for various functions, such as crouching and the flashlight (Maybe he means back? the front one doesnt make sense) The load times are quite lengthy. Initially loading a save file can take up to 30 seconds Im so hyped to play this also heres some more screenshots game does look good
